picking up dogs

What should I do about picking a dog up? A potential customer wants me to go to their place to get their dog about 30 minutes away. I would prefer not to because I am already sitting another dog who is 10 years old and has hip dysplasia so I would rather not drag him around the downtown area to get another dog. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I would either have someone watch the senior dog at home while you picked up the other dog. If you don't have someone that can do that for you then I would tell the potential customer what situation you are facing with the other special needs dog. I think/hope they might understand and offer to drop off the dog to your location.
