how do i find a sitter in my area to watch my dog?

I am going to be working a refinery shutdown for 10 weeks, 6 days a week, 12 hour days. I need someone to come over once a day to take my dog out to go potty and play with her and walk her for 30-45 minutes.

You can do a search of sitters who offer "drop-in" visits in your area. Go to the Search Rover button on the top and fill out the specs for dates needed and your zipcode. It should provide you with a list of sitters who can do exactly what you described.
