How is pricing figured out? If overnight stay is $45 and a day stay is $35, does a 10am Friday to 10am Saturday, does this mean a sum of these $80 or $45?

I'm getting mixed messages from those dog-sitting.

No. There is no "overnight" rate per se. Rover's boarding rates are for a 24-hour period. If a dog is dropped off at 10 am on Friday, it can stay until 10 am on Saturday for the $45 nightly charge.
