simple question details in the question

Actually, I'll need a few more details. Would he be left alone? If so, for how long? What kind of "stop pull collar" is it? (What is it made of? What does it look like?) How big is your dog? How active is he? Does your furniture or home have any protrusions he might get caught on?

Never leave a stop pull collar on your dog when he is in the house because he may get it caught on something, chew it off and it's extremely uncomfortable when they just have it on.

Training tools are only for wearing while training, in my opinion. Plus, they can get caught on stuff, thus pose a safety risk.

It truly depends on what kind of collar it is. The majority of them cannot be left on while inside. I don't even leave flat collars on my pups if they are to be crated due to a strangulation hazard.
