Are there any petsitters interested in 3 months of free rent in Washington DC penthouse in exchange for long-term sitting for 2 loving lap cats?

I am a http://Rover.com pet sitting customer (not pet sitter). We live out of the country part-time when we are not in Washington, DC. Usually we are gone for around 4 weeks, but we are now planning to go for up to 3 months this year (dates are flexible). We are considering renting our penthouse condo, but I would much prefer not to relocate our sweet furkids, as they're so comfortable at home. They are older cats, very sweet, who need dinner, water, a few minutes of play, daily litter scoops and a warm lap. http://Rover.com has advised that interested sitters should respond to this thread if interested. This sounds very sketchy. The person has left no way of contacting them, so you have left personal info (like your phone number or email address) on a public board. They could be scammers phishing for info.

Thanks, Karen. I hadn't thought about that, and have no idea how to "phish!" Rest assured, I'm just a Rover customer and pet parent trying to find an option to keep our cats comfy when we're away. It's my understanding that people can see my profile. What are your suggestions for future posting?

I have no interest in your so-called opportunity. My only interest to protect the members of this community. Remember, this board (dog questions) is open to anyone on the internet, unlike the other two which require you be a member of Rover, Photos of your animals taken by other sitters are private?? They're probably on the sitter's page as well. Sorry, but I don't buy any of this and your treat record looks incredibly bizarre.
