About: Hi, I’m Alex. I’ve been caring for pets for friends and family for years — dogs, cats, and various small animals. I understand that pets have social and emotional needs as much as physical ones, and I make it a priority to give them attention, companionship, and care that matches their personality and routine. I enjoy spending time with cats and making sure they feel secure and engaged, whether that’s playing, cuddling, or simply being present. For dogs, I’m comfortable with both high-energy breeds that need plenty of activity and older pups who do best with a slower pace. I’m available for drop-in visits, dog walks, and overnight stays, and I always aim to be reliable, attentive, and consistent so you can feel at ease knowing your pets are in good hands. Right now I have a very flexible schedule, which means I can easily fit in drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays throughout the week. I like to build my day around the pets I’m caring for - whether that’s making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need or setting aside time to play with cats and check in on them. Having that flexibility lets me give each pet consistent care without feeling rushed. In a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible so pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, making sure they have fresh water, taking dogs out for walks or playtime, cleaning litter boxes, and spending quality time with them so they don’t feel lonely. I’m respectful of the home, keep things tidy, and make sure pets are safe and cared for until their family is back.

About: I haven't met a dog yet that I do not love. I will protect your family member with my life and allow them to take a nice brisk walk through the neighborhood. Any age of dog is welcome. Available to take your campanion for walks from Monday to Saturday between 7a.m- 3p.m. I love company while I walk so why not make money and new friends. When walking dogs I always make sure I am between them and the road. I think it is important for dogs to always sit before crossing roads, with permission I will reward dogs on behavior with treats and love.

About: Hello! My name is Mike and I've been fostering dogs since 2019. I've had approximately 18 come and go, only foster "failing" (foster dogs who I ended up keeping) with two who stayed and had the best golden years. I lost my most recent boy in August, a blind Bichon, just shy of his 12th birthday and after 3 great years. He was type-1 diabetic and blind, and after so much time as a foster getting his insulin regulated, he decided I was his forever family. He had a sister when I got him, a senior Yorkie with diabetes insipidus and a host of health issues. All that is to say I'm a professional at insulin, rigid medication schedules and diet maintenance. Presently I have no dogs of my own. When it comes to your dog, I'll keep your daily routine and walk schedules too, so your pups stay is as minimally disruptive to their normal routine as possible. I've fostered dogs of many breeds from Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier to a Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard. I've had as many as 4 dogs at once so I'm open to having multiple pups at once. I'll never accept dogs from multiple families unless both families are booking together and the dogs are socialized with each other already. And I'll never cancel a confirmed stay for a more lucrative multi-dog request. I live alone in a detached house in Wallaceburg, and I work from home so your dog won't be left alone aside from short errands. I'm not big on crating dogs, leaving them free to be where they like while I'm gone. I have a den with glass door if you tell me they need smaller quarters, or you can bring your crate for me to use. I have a large fenced yard for playing fetch or dogs who need to run. This is a total dog house. I bought it due to its flat land and not having stairs, and I built a ramp down to the yard. I installed a dog door but it will stay blocked unless having access is suitable for your pups. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, and will have free roam of the house (there's no basement, and garage isn't accessible). House sitting radius: the Rover app limits a 100km radius when setting the territory I can offer the services. I've got my radius set Eastward to circle Toronto, as I grew up there and love an opportunity to take gigs that get me into the city. Unfortunately I can't draw a circle that includes Windsor, but I'm happy to take gigs there too. If you're in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, or the GTA, and you have a dog that can be left alone for 2-3hrs max, I may be willing to offer discounts on price so I can catch up with family and friends in those areas while I'm there. If you have any questions or you'd like to arrange a tour or meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I work fulltime hours from home, typical office hours. I'm usually awake by 7am and bed by midnight. I don't have many friends in town so I'm home most of the time. My yard is fully fenced. I have a couple Tile tracking tags that I can attach to their collar if they're an escape artist (or you'd like to track your pups location remotely). Hazardous items like cleaning products are kept in cupboards or in my detached garage. My house is pretty dog proofed and I'm not concerned if your pup has an accident. That's what mops and upholstery cleaners are for. I think I've developed pretty good dog body language, and only correct misbehaviour by command and redirection. I'm a bit of a sucker that let's them get carried away when they're being silly, but particularly with bigger dogs I'll make sure their training is maintained (no jumping up to greet, making sure they don't assert dominance etc.)

About: I have been around dogs since I was very little. I am aware that they need as much love as a human being. I know perfectly how to take care of them💙🐶 I work from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, but my husband works from home during the day. We’ve been together for over 15 years, and he’s been around dogs his whole life. Both of us truly love pets and have cared for them nearly our entire lives. We understand how to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I live in a 3 bedroom house with an awesome lakeview, there’s plenty space here where your dog can be comfortable and happy. The neighborhood is great for nice walks 😊.

About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals. Friends, family and even neighbors have relied on me to help care for their loved ones whether it be baths, nail trims, walks, or overnight care. Of course I love puppies, but seniors are actually where my heart truly lies. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than helping care for seniors, and I have plenty of experience doing so. I have also worked at multiple dog boarding facilities. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can do multiple drop ins a day no problem at all! I always make sure to keep everyone's safety in mind. I do not take any chances, and I pay attention to how your baby is acting. If something seems off I'm concerned.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and I have a love for all animals. I know many dogs through friends and family and I have experience walking and caring for a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments. I used to have two dogs of my own in addition to my three cats, one of which was a Shiba Inu - so I’m used to and can handle dogs that can be reactive or territorial. I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and I love to spoil and care for them. You can be sure I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I would give to my own. I currently have a business I’m starting up so I’m only working part time, as such my availability is varied but generally open. I prefer to sit at others’ homes but would be available to board throughout the week - I have a couple obligations Monday, Wednesday and Friday so just message me and we’ll see what we can work out. As I have three cats any boarding at my home would require the pet to be vetted and to verify they are cat friendly and non-aggressive. For in-home sitting I can provide a walk, feedings and general play and care including letting the dogs out to potty. At my own place I do not have a fully enclosed yard, but I can still take out dogs on-leash, and would provide all the same in-home care as I would sitting. I do have a gate for the kitchen if they needed to be kept separate from the cats. As I rent the dogs must be potty trained, though I understand pee accidents due to excitement and such can happen. In general I offer a safe and friendly environment for your pets regardless of whether I’m in your home or my own, as every animal deserves to be treated with love and care.

About: Certified cat lady ! I don’t have much experience with dogs besides my roommates 8 year old boxer. She absolutely ADORED me in such a short period of time. When she had a litter she wouldn’t let anyone near them besides me ! (I was honored) I’m also good with small pets, I’ve had parakeets, a hamster, and several fish growing up. I always find animals are drawn to me and I’m drawn to them ! I carry cat food in my car for any strays I may encounter. I’m a stay at home wife so I have a lot of free time. The only work I do is helping my husband with his properties so my schedule is pretty flexible ! I don’t have any kids so pets are my babies. I own cats so they kind of just do whatever they want to. As long as I feed them, clean their litter box, and have clean water out they’re pretty much set. I do play tag with my kitties loll I don’t really have experience with dogs but I’ve dog sat a couple times with my friend for her sister. I would say I’m better with older dogs/ smaller dogs that aren’t high energy as opposed to younger dogs.

About: My mom is a Vet Tech, so I’ve been helping her foster dogs for as long as I can remember. I also obtained a lot of experience dog sitting for neighbors and family friends growing up. I have experience training puppies and will be more than willing to run and play with your dogs. I’m a college student looking to make some extra money, so that means I’m very available on the weekends. I’m skilled at grooming pets too, I had a Great Pyrenees as a kid and brushing her out in the spring took a lot of effort. I have experience with a range of breeds, from Jack Russels and Chihuahuas to German Shepards and Great Danes. I’m very patient and loving towards all animals and would love to take care of your fur babies. I work a standard 9-5 but I am willing to help with your pups anytime outside of that! Let me know what you need and I’ll do my best to accommodate. I have two dogs that love a good couch cuddle as much as they like a long walk so we spend equal amounts of time doing both. I like to feed my dogs with puzzle toys and make enrichment toys for them to exercise their minds and I loved to do that with your pups too.

I have had the privilege of taking care of dogs, cats, a turtle, a chinchilla, and a ferret so far in my personal life. No matter what type, I would be happy to help out you and your friends! Walking pets: I make it a point to walk my own dogs at least once every couple of hours, but often more frequently than that, and you can, of course, let me know how often is good for your pets. I also make sure to bring waste bags with me and dispose of them properly when the walk is finished, so there is to issue of animal waste being left of someone else's lawn. Pet sitting: As previously mentioned, I would be sure to let your animal out or walk them to relieve themselves if necessary. I also keep a watchful eye on pets to make sure that they are okay and to determine if they need to be taken outside or if there is a possible issue. I am a great cuddler as well if that is what your pet likes! I work full-time as the store manager of an ice cream company and my days are relatively flexible. This flexibility enables me to provide pet care throughout the week, ensuring I can meet the needs of your furry family members whenever necessary. My goal is to seamlessly integrate into their current routine or establish one that works best for them, ultimately returning your pets to you content and well-cared-for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a little girl I currently have two pitbull one I’ve adopted and the other one I’ve had since it was a puppy and she currently has mast cell tumors so I am great with dogs that have special needs elderly dogs, adopted dogs, and just any kind of animal in general my goal is to open up a rescue one day I work from home. I have all day every day to spend time with my pets and yours. I can care for any sized animal and they have a beautiful spacious outdoor yard here that they can play in. I also have two wonderful dogs myself that love to have company and playmates. My pets have the rum of the house and a very large outdoor yard. They come first in everything that I do They have never been crated. They are house trained and always have been, and they are my best friends. I called them my dogters

About: I have had a dog in my life for 10 years of my adult life. Taking care of dogs has become an every day part of life and is something that I really enjoy. My pup needs a buddy to play with, and he loves his play dates! I don’t currently work full-time. I am in college and I am completing my courses from home. I have plenty of time to play and love on some fur babies. My apartment complex MANY fields that can provide a great space for your fur baby to run around and get their energy out. I take my fur baby out at least 3 times a day and he loves his daily trips to the leasing office to get his dog treats from the leasing agents.
