Doggy Day Care Wallaceburg

About: Hello! My name is Mike and I've been fostering dogs since 2019. I've had approximately 18 come and go, only foster "failing" (foster dogs who I ended up keeping) with two who stayed and had the best golden years. I lost my most recent boy in August, a blind Bichon, just shy of his 12th birthday and after 3 great years. He was type-1 diabetic and blind, and after so much time as a foster getting his insulin regulated, he decided I was his forever family. He had a sister when I got him, a senior Yorkie with diabetes insipidus and a host of health issues. All that is to say I'm a professional at insulin, rigid medication schedules and diet maintenance. Presently I have no dogs of my own. When it comes to your dog, I'll keep your daily routine and walk schedules too, so your pups stay is as minimally disruptive to their normal routine as possible. I've fostered dogs of many breeds from Chihuahuas and a Rat Terrier to a Golden Retriever and Saint Bernard. I've had as many as 4 dogs at once so I'm open to having multiple pups at once. I'll never accept dogs from multiple families unless both families are booking together and the dogs are socialized with each other already. And I'll never cancel a confirmed stay for a more lucrative multi-dog request. I live alone in a detached house in Wallaceburg, and I work from home so your dog won't be left alone aside from short errands. I'm not big on crating dogs, leaving them free to be where they like while I'm gone. I have a den with glass door if you tell me they need smaller quarters, or you can bring your crate for me to use. I have a large fenced yard for playing fetch or dogs who need to run. This is a total dog house. I bought it due to its flat land and not having stairs, and I built a ramp down to the yard. I installed a dog door but it will stay blocked unless having access is suitable for your pups. Dogs are welcome on the couch and the bed, and will have free roam of the house (there's no basement, and garage isn't accessible). House sitting radius: the Rover app limits a 100km radius when setting the territory I can offer the services. I've got my radius set Eastward to circle Toronto, as I grew up there and love an opportunity to take gigs that get me into the city. Unfortunately I can't draw a circle that includes Windsor, but I'm happy to take gigs there too. If you're in London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Brantford, or the GTA, and you have a dog that can be left alone for 2-3hrs max, I may be willing to offer discounts on price so I can catch up with family and friends in those areas while I'm there. If you have any questions or you'd like to arrange a tour or meet and greet, don't hesitate to reach out. I work fulltime hours from home, typical office hours. I'm usually awake by 7am and bed by midnight. I don't have many friends in town so I'm home most of the time. My yard is fully fenced. I have a couple Tile tracking tags that I can attach to their collar if they're an escape artist (or you'd like to track your pups location remotely). Hazardous items like cleaning products are kept in cupboards or in my detached garage. My house is pretty dog proofed and I'm not concerned if your pup has an accident. That's what mops and upholstery cleaners are for. I think I've developed pretty good dog body language, and only correct misbehaviour by command and redirection. I'm a bit of a sucker that let's them get carried away when they're being silly, but particularly with bigger dogs I'll make sure their training is maintained (no jumping up to greet, making sure they don't assert dominance etc.)

About: Have a history of dog breeding and care, love all pets. We currently have 2 small dogs, our cat passed way last year sadly, but we love both. I work part time, three hours three times a week and so I have a lot of free time to care for the needs of your pet. I have a fully fenced in yard where even the smallest dog cannot get out. In your home I am available to help them feel comfortable and safe when you are away.

About: I’ve worked in the vet field for 6 years, caring for dogs and cats. And I’ve been fostering for 6 years as well. I’ve had a love for animals since before I can remember. They are my passion. I care for every single one of them as my own I’m a stay at home mom. I don’t have a lot planned right now other than some up north trips and a wedding to plan. Our house can be chaos with all the animals and 2 kids. But everyone is loved and played with. We can go for walks as our neighborhood is not as busy.

Husky, English mastiff, and now a extra friendly golden retriever Murphy who gets along with everyone! They will have plenty of space to roam in our large fenced in backyard! I lol forward to meeting your pup! I am home most of the time but do manage a kid in travel sports. I will always prioritize your pet and make sure their time alone is minimal. I have a large fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam freely inside. Our resident 4 year old golden Murphy is extra friendly to all dogs and will be excited for some new friends! I do have a large crate available if needed for any reason.

About: Hello pet lovers! I have a huge fenced in back yard in a beautiful area. A very loving and playful home. I have been working with dogs since I was just a kid as well as cats and birds. I am home all day everyday with your pets so they won't feel such separation anxiety. I am home every day of the week all day so I can give alot of personal care to your fur babies. We usually start our day around 7am with some breakfast and dinner around 5pm depending on your dog's feeding schedule. I always have lots of bowls of water all over and outside. There is a large crate incase your pet needs crate training. The house is puppy proof since I have one of my own so the house is very safe for all pets.

About: I am a registered veterinary technician. I have tons of experience working with dogs, cats and small pets. I currently own 2 large dogs and a cat. I can offer other services as well - such as nail trims, anal gland expressions and ear cleanings. Please let me know if you have any questions and i am looking forward to meeting your pets! Either me or my husband are always home to provide care to pets. I am currently on maternity leave which gives me plenty of time to provide extra services. We are on a 1.2 acre property. We are NOT fenced but have plenty of long leads to allow more freedom for the dogs. Dogs can be crated at night, or free roam depending on their preferences.

About: I’ve done a lot of puppy raising and training. I have had 6 labs that I have raised and trained from 6 weeks old on. I also have experience with senior dogs, giving medication and helping them to get around and be comfortable. I would love to watch your new puppy while you are away for the day or longer. I can help with basic training socialization. I am occasionally subbing for special education at a school at the corner of my street. If I happen to get called into sub I am able to come home at lunch only leaving the dogs for a few hours at a time. I have a 5 year old yellow Labrador that is very friendly and gets along very well with other dogs. I have a spacious, fully fenced yard—and a built-in companion! Dogs I welcome into our home are treated like part of the family, just like our own beloved fur baby. I also have a crate available, which our dog uses freely whenever she wants a cozy spot to relax.

About: ONLY SIT UP TO 25 lbs... Hello, I'm Cynthia, a true animal lover; I have owned many dogs & cats, they're my passion and bring me much joy. I will care for your babies like they're my own. I will provide a home away from home. I live in home in Chesterfield (23 Mile & Sugarbush/Seaden) with a beautiful fenced yard; only dogs up to 25 lbs. I often sit 1-4 dogs at a time; so your pet must be able to get along with other dogs. I will take your pets on daily walks and supervise them outside frequently to potty. I don’t use crates unless the owner requests; and the babies sleep with me! For dogs that might be a bit nervous or crabby away from home, I use lavender and chamomile oils to sooth their nerves. I am retired and have lived in the Macomb County area for 18 years. I have excellent personal and business references. My goal is to love and enjoy your animals and provide them with the best possible and safest environment. I love to take photos & will send lots of pics of your babies while you’re gone. Oh, and book early, I fill up quickly, and please note the cancellation policy. I look forward to hearing from you! About: I have cared for animals ever since I was 10 years old. I’ve had small pets of my own, two dogs (a pit bull and a corgi) and my roommate owns two cats, as well. I have no allergies and have a smoke free home! I’m a teacher during the school year, so I’m just looking to keep some animals company this summer while on break! I’m not working in the summer, so I have a lot of time to stop in and care for animals or go for walks. I can do weekdays and weekends pretty much all times of the day. I live in a new build home and subdivision, so when I walk my dog it has to be on a leash. I am happy to leash walk, harness walk, or crate animals.
