About: I am here to give your dog the love, care, and attention that they deserve. I have over 7 years experience of dog-walking, dog-sitting, and stop-by visits for friends and neighbours. I currently volunteer at the Northwest Animal Shelter so am used to dealing with different personalities - from shy sweethearts to energetic pullers! I work for wildfire meaning I have a dynamic schedule but currently I work 8-4:30 on weekdays and am happy to come give your pet food and love before/after work and I have open availability on weekends! Happy to chat more to see what scheduling options we can explore. I am highly aware and responsible when it comes to any boundaries or restrictions you have for your pet. I treat every person's fur baby like they're my own and ensure they are both safe and loved.
About: Since moving to Smithers 3 years ago I've realized we have a very common problem; Many of us move here not knowing anyone, and many of us need to leave multiple times a year, leaving us scrambling to find pet care. Even for long time residents it can be hard lineing up your schedule with those of friends and family to make sure your pet is taken care of. Finding pet care shouldn't be stressful! I am here to take that stress away and promise to treat your pet like they deserve, keeping you updated on how their staycation is going and being a professional, kind person throughout the experience. I have previously taken care of both small and large dogs, cats, rabbits and guineapigs. I have access to reliable transportation and am currently very flexible with availability. Please feel free to inquire further about how I can help you and your pet. I work from an office within town and have flexibility to choose my works hours between 7 am to 5pm. A few days a week I go to the gym and in the winter I am a huge fan of cross country skiing. Outside of work hours I am available for longer visits with pets. While pet sitting I like to spend time with the pet in ways they feel comfortable. A game of fetch, a walk and then a quick nap afterwards is pretty typical. I have a fenced in backyard.
