I work only three days a week during daytime hours, which leaves me fully available on evenings and weekends for house sitting, drop-ins, and additional care. This balance allows me to provide consistent, reliable, and attentive care to every animal I look after. I also offer flexible house sitting. Because I have pets of my own, I may not stay overnight for long consecutive periods, but I’m happy to provide a mix of drop-in visits and a few overnight stays to best suit your pet’s needs. — Les soins aux animaux s’intègrent naturellement à ma routine. About: I have several years of hands-on experience working with animals in both veterinary and pet care settings. I’ve worked as a client care receptionist in animal hospitals, where I regularly interacted with pets of all temperaments, assisted with handling animals, checked pets in for surgery and wellness visits, and helped administer medications when needed. I’ve also worked at PetSmart and a grooming salon, where I cared for animals daily, assisted groomers, bathed and brushed dogs, monitored pet behavior, and ensured pets were safe, comfortable, and happy. Through these roles, I’ve learned how to recognize stress signals, handle pets calmly, and provide compassionate care—especially for nervous or senior animals. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about animal well-being. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I am an assistant basketball coach and have practices for 1–2 hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Outside of those times, I am available throughout the day for drop-in visits, walks, and pet care. I occasionally have games on weekends, but I still maintain availability before and after games and will always communicate clearly in advance. I’m reliable, organized, and happy to work around your pet’s routine! When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I carefully follow all instructions provided regarding feeding, medications, walks, litter box care, and playtime. I always approach pets calmly and patiently, paying close attention to their body language and individual needs. I make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and affection based on what they’re comfortable with. With my experience working in animal hospitals and pet care settings, I’m comfortable caring for pets of all temperaments, including shy, senior, or nervous animals, and administering medications when needed.
