About: Fan fini des animaux de compagnie, j’ai la chance d’en côtoyer d’aussi loin que je me souvienne. J’ai beaucoup de plaisir avec eux et me sens privilégiée lorsqu’on a l’occasion de s’apprivoiser. Heureuse de partager mon environnement avec une belle Husky de 8 ans depuis septembre2026 vivant avec 2.8 pattes, je vous propose alors une attention et des soins hors pair pour vos compagnons. Marcher, socialiser, jeux et encore plus! Je travaille pour le service incendie de la MRC de D’Autray et j’ai un horaire de travail plutôt typique soit de 8h à 17h, et termine à midi le vendredi. Je suis disponible tôt le matin et en soirée pour les journées de semaine et suis SUPER disponible les week-ends. J’ai actuellement 2 chats, Tomtom 12 ans et Simon 5 ans. J’ai beaucoup de plaisir à faire en sorte que tout est harmonieux pour tous. Auparavant j’ai eu un Berger Allemand/Husky/Beauceron pour lequel j’ai suivi un cours de dressage (pour le maître… hahah). Par la suite, j’ai « rescue » toute sortes de quadrupèdes (chiens, chats et même une rate).

Ayant moi-même pris soin, pendant plusieurs années, d’un sphynx ayant des besoins spécifiques, je suis familière avec les soins de peau, d’hygiène dentaire et l’attention supplémentaire que certaines races demandent. I recently said goodbye to my beloved Sphynx, who had several special needs, and caring for him taught me so much about patience, attentiveness, and understanding each animal’s unique needs. About: Have extensive experience with raising cats and dogs, am comfortable in other peoples homes and keep it neat and tidy. I have raised a Boxer, helped train a golden doodle, cared for elderly greyhounds with hip problems, fostered a Mini Pincer with PTSD with aggression to other dogs. Among many others! I know how to speak to them in a serious tone, to correct them, and then immediately give them a way to repair. (Example, no pulling on the leash, NO! Sit down, give paw, Good dog! ) -This would obviously be tailored to each pet according to their needs and training level. I care for more than just their needs, I take an interest in their interests, and emotional wellbeing. I work from a distance, and make my own schedule therefore I am very flexible. I also have a place with a fenced in backyard for having animals visit my home as well. Consistency is everything with dogs! I am loving and firm. I get to know what is acceptable behavior of the animal according to their parents, and reinforce this training while they are away. If the dog needs cuddles, quiet and down time, then lets get some comfy blankets and cuddle up with a book! If they need to walk / run a lot we can go on urban hikes or to the dog park. If an animal is visiting my home I make sure its completely baby proofed, and owners re more than welcome to inspect my space in advance or on arrival! If they prefer to have a space to hide to feel safe I can create that under my bed or in a closet, with pleasure.

Service idéal pour les chiens qui préfèrent rester à la maison plutôt qu’en pension. Je m’occupe des animaux de compagnie en respectant leur routine et leurs habitudes afin qu’ils se sentent en sécurité et en confiance pendant l’absence de leur propriétaire. Lors des gardes à domicile, je reste dormir sur place et je suis présent une grande partie de la journée. Je m’assure que l’animal reçoive toute l’attention nécessaire, des promenades quotidiennes, ses repas à l’heure habituelle et des moments de jeu et de détente. Je prends le temps d’observer le comportement de chaque animal afin de m’adapter à son tempérament, son niveau d’énergie et ses besoins particuliers. Certains chiens ont besoin de beaucoup d’exercice, d’autres surtout de présence et de calme. Je peux également donner de la médication si nécessaire, arroser les plantes, maintenir la maison propre et envoyer des nouvelles et des photos aux propriétaires pour les rassurer pendant leur absence. Mon objectif est que l’animal vive le moins de stress possible et que les propriétaires partent en voyage en toute tranquillité d’esprit.

With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)
