“Monica was a great help with checking on my cats! They appreciated the love and attention she gave them while I was away. She, as always, paid careful attention to instructions and carried out everything just as I had asked. I’d ask for her help again in a heartbeat!”

“Courtney is responsible, kind, caring, and punctual! She responded quickly, sent timely check-in photos, and she was very, very easy to communicate with 🥰 which meant a lot to me while I was in the hospital. This is the first time that I have been gone for a few days and the cats were not stressed out or scared when we came home. She did an amazing job with my two (7 month old kittens) furry kids 🥰🐈🐈 I would absolutely recommend Courtney, 100%!!! And I wouldn’t hesitate to call her again if I needed a pet minder, she is the best one in the city!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I have owned pets of my own (cats, dogs and fish) for over 10 years, and take pride in my knowledge through my own personal experience. I enjoy walking and running dogs, as well as stopping in to let your fur baby out to do their business and spend some time with them! I’d love to meet your pet, and possibly have my Toby (Shiht Zu) be friends with your fur baby. I value every owners rules and training regiments and would love to learn new and different ways of caring for your pet. I work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. I can be flexible with my lunch hour, if needed. With my job, I feel as though working with pets is therapy for me, so I’d love to help you with your pet! I enjoy playing with my own dog and therefore would love to get to know yours! Play for your fur baby is just as important for us pet owners!! Depending on what you are requesting from me, I like to keep myself and the pets I’m caring for, active. Whether it is going for a walk, learning new tricks, or playing, I will try my best at keeping your pet active!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
