I enjoy getting to know each dog and helping them feel comfortable in my home. I work from home full-time, which allows me to offer companionship and regular potty breaks throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and care instructions. I work full-time from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I can take your dog outside for walks and potty breaks every 3–4 hours during the day, with time for play and companionship between work tasks. I’m happy to follow their usual feeding and walking schedule. My home is spacious and smoke-free, with no children or other pets currently living here. I have a large backyard on a property of approximately one acre, offering plenty of room for supervised outdoor time. Indoors, your dog will have lots of space to relax and move around. If your dog needs to avoid stairs, I can block off access to keep them on one level. I’ll follow your care instructions to help keep your pup safe and comfortable.

I am free up until December (going on a trip to Australia) but can continue dog sitting until the spring since I work from home. I am not working up until December then I work from home until spring! Would love to have an excuse to go on more adventures and I am fairly flexible for the foreseeable future. I don’t have the capacity to care for an animal in my own home unfortunately. I also wouldn’t like to stress out a pet anymore than usual so I am happy to do drop-ins or stay in the home of the pet.

About: When living abroad for over 10 yrs I volunteered with a local animal rescue organization and fostered dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have dealt with animal injuries and out reach programs and also had a business that provided pet walking and sitting. In Canada I have had dogs and cats as family since I was a child. I am retired and recently lost my two elderly dogs. My baby is a rescue from the Dominican Republic, is four and half yrs old and use to cats and other dogs. I have a fully fenced yard and a flexible schedule for my activities outside of the home. I have a four and half year old rescue who is use to other animals including the deer who live nearby. My yard is fully fenced and semi rural. I have dog beds and crates available if needed and the space to accommodate them.
