Let me show you my skills I work full time at the government of canada, and i absolutely love to spend time with my animals, i am an outgoing person that loves the outdoors. About: I’ve been around animals since I was born, we’ve always had a cat and dog! I walk my dog daily! I have taken care of friends and neighbours pets since I was 10, taking them for walks, feeding them, etc. I am teacher so I am often at school for 7 hours of the day which leaves me with time for visits and walks with your pets! My schedule is pretty flexible unless I am teaching of course! Keeping in line with the animals schedule and routines. Knowing if the animal has any medication and having an emergency contact in case something happens.

About: I am a full time Government employee. I have had dogs all my life. I currently have 1 medium size dog of my own. A yellow lab mix. I live alone and have no kids. So I’m usually available. I work full time and available weekdays, weekends and some holidays. I work from 8:30am - 4:30pm. I work from home 2-3 days a week My dogs are treated like my own kids. They are well taken care of and have been for 12 years. They are getting up there in age with some difficulty moving around. Mainly the larger Choc lab who is on some meds for arthritis and allergies. My property is wirelessly fenced and dogs are both trained on the boundaries. Both dogs are insured. Poop is picked up on a daily basis to keep property clean. My dogs roam my property and house. I do have one dog that is a bit moody so unfortunately at this time I cannot board dogs but looking forward to in a year or so. Unfortunately my Choc lab will be 14 in Nov. Not sure how much time I have left with him.

The bunnies get kibble and veggies in the morning. The cats get wet food in the morning and at night. Dry kibble out all day and hay out all day for the bunnies. We clean their cage 1/ week, and the cats litter gets changed every 3 days. Unfortunately, I do Have a dog of my own, but can manage very well as I am highly trained with aggressive dogs. I believe all dogs can be trained in a well loved and supportive environment once triggers are identified I spoil every animal like it’s my own! Great with puppies and super forgiving. We all make mistakes even if it’s our furniture!!! I have tons of training experience to make this not happen! I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I love giving lots of cuddles, belly rubs and walks and I aim to make every dog feel super loved and adored. Right now I’m currently working in Ottawa for the federal government from Monday to Thursday. I work from home on Fridays, and I am available all weekend and would dedicate every hour to looking after your fur baby. I’m currently in transition to retirement, so I will be available for full-time sitting as of January 1, 2027. For boarding, I am comfortable spending all of my free time outside of work with your baby. I don’t have any obligations that would take me away from focusing on your baby’s care. I also live in a very quiet neighborhood, so it would be a peaceful and enjoyable experience for your little one. I look forward to meeting you and your precious baby! 🐶 For now, I work from home 1 day a week (Fri) and have to be in the office in Ottawa 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs). I would be able to be home with your baby (Fri, Sat, Sun) but if you’re going on vacation and request more than those 3 days I’m more than happy to do 7 days a week, as long as you’re ok with them being alone on the 4 days I’m in the office (from 7am to 3pm). As of January 1, 2027, I will be fully retired and available 24/7. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. I’ve had very positive experiences using Rover in the past as a dog owner & I’m excited to now be able to give positive experiences to other pet parents as a dog-sitter. I’m more than happy to abide by any and all requests or preferences that you have when it comes to your baby and I’d love to know their likes and dislikes and whatever else will make their stay with me the best time ever!

Let me show you my skills I work full time at the government of canada, and i absolutely love to spend time with my animals, i am an outgoing person that loves the outdoors. I would take the dog out for regular potty breaks and take them for walks at least once per day and twice on the weekends I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and a 3/4 acre land next to the water.
