About: Think of this as a boutique, in-home pet boarding retreat — not a kennel. With 30+ years of hands-on experience raising, hosting, and loving just about every creature imaginable — cats, dogs, fowl, rabbits, rodents, and even tortoises (yes, really) — your pet will be in wildly capable hands. Puppies who need gentle training? Seniors who need extra patience and TLC? Shy pets, quirky pets, “my pet is kind of weird” pets? I’ve met them all and adore them deeply. Our home is designed for calm, gentle pet care, nestled on a peaceful 100-acre forest property (freija.ca), which means plenty of fresh air, enrichment, and stress-free vibes. No kids, no chaos — just a quiet, loving environment where animals can actually relax. My husband and I both work from home, so your pet is never left wondering where the humans went. Someone is always around for companionship, playtime, belly rubs, or just existing together (a highly underrated skill). And then there’s Honey, our resident adventure cat and official Welcome Committee. He absolutely loves meeting visiting pets and brings big “friendly camp counsellor” energy to every introduction. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family, understands animals on a deep level, and can handle everything from puppy zoomies to senior snoozes — you just found your place. 🐾💚 My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet gets constant supervision, companionship, and engagement — ideal for puppies needing routine, senior dogs who require extra care, and pets who don’t do well being left alone. There are no children in the home, just experienced adults who speak fluent “animal.” Our home is set up specifically for gentle, low-stress pet sitting, tucked away on a quiet 100-acre forest property (freija.ca). It’s perfect for dogs who love sniffing adventures, cats who enjoy calm observation posts, and pets who thrive in a peaceful environment. No crates by default, no overcrowding, and absolutely no chaos. If you’re looking for reliable, experienced, in-home pet boarding where your pet is treated like family (and maybe a little spoiled), you’ve found it. Your pet brings the personality — we’ve already got the love, patience, and forest vibes covered.

About: Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a big soft spot for the goofy, cuddly, energetic, anxious, quirky, and occasionally *“I definitely didn’t eat that”* members of the family. 🐶😂 I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I’m happy to provide dog walking, drop- in visits, overnight care, bathing, brushing, nail trims, feeding, and oral medication administration** when needed. I’ll follow your pet’s routine closely and keep a watchful eye on their wellbeing while you’re away. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel safe, loved, entertained, and completely spoiled while they’re with me. ❤️ Whether your dog needs a big adventure and a long walk, a backyard hangout and belly rubs, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re at work, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I’m comfortable caring for pets, in your home or mine, and I love getting outside and exploring new walking routes and neighbourhoods. Your dog’s familiar routine and favourite spots are always a priority, although I can’t promise we won’t discover a few new squirrel-watching locations along the way. 🐿️ And because I’ve spent years caring for children professionally, I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, communication, and keeping a watchful eye on the little people (and four-legged people) in my care. ⭐ What my clients say “Emma gave the best belly rubs and made me believe I was a good boy. We spent the afternoon chasing squirrels and she threw me my favourite ball.” — Preston, 4-year-old French Bulldog 🐾 “Emma is an energetic dog lover who treats every pet as if they were her own. I’ve seen her love for animals firsthand, and I’d trust her with my dog any day!” — Jill, Toronto, ON Your pet is never “just a booking” to me. They’re family, and I’ll treat them that way.🐾✨ Pet care isn’t something that I “fit in” - it’s something that naturally belongs in my day and adds joy, structure, and purpose to it. This will vary and we can discuss. I look forward to speaking with you if you think we would be a good fit. Thanks 😊

“Shorty had a wonderful day with Jesse, Natalie and Lucy. They have a great fenced in yard for the pups to sniff and play (Shorty and Lucy are still playing it cool but I think soon they will be romping buddies). Shorty loves affection and he was certainly spoiled here. They also went above and beyond, giving Shorty a little butt wash before I picked him up! I 100% recommend this household for your dog's care. They are lovely people, very dog experienced and of course they LOVE dogs!”

“Eevie was very well taken care of while in the care of Leah and Steven. I received pictures throughout the day and ommunication was excellent! I will definitely ask them to watch Eevie again!”

“Today was my first time using Rover and Laura was helpful and she and her kids took great care of my boy. I will definitely utilize her services again and look forward to my Jake playing with all her babies, fur and human.”

“Amanda and family are a fantastic place for your dog sitting needs. Shorty loves all the attention and he gets in some great walks! I totally recommend Amanda. She is dog experienced and takes great care of her furry visitors.”

“Our dogs first ever visit with a daycare. We were worried he would stress out. Lisa had the magic touch and Fionn didn’t even know we were gone. Wonderful family and we would leave him with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks”

“Chris was very accommodating with Hudson. I could tell when I picked Hudson up that he was happy with his temporary big brother as he was in no hurry to leave! I would recommend Chris to any other Rover client. I would not hesitate to book with Chris again when I’m back in the area.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve had them since I was young and have spent the last 12 years caring for others’ pets as well. I recently lost my beloved French Bulldog, who required a lot of dedicated care, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease. Because I’m completing my Master’s degree from home, I have a flexible and adaptable schedule. This allows me to be available during the day for walks, feedings, and ongoing supervision, ensuring pets receive consistent, attentive care rather than being left alone for long periods. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important routine and a calm environment are, so I do my best to keep things consistent with what they’re used to—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just how they like to relax. I’m very mindful about safety in the home and always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I also keep communication open so you always know how your pet is doing. These things were so important to me with my own dog.

I always ensure that your pet is taken care of to the best of my abilities, ensuring that they have the best care, keeping all of your wishes in mind. I can help do basic training including crate training, ensure your pet does not pick up any bad habits and will do my best to show they are loved and cared for whether it's a short walk or we're in it for the long haul. I am energetic and able to keep up with all of your fur babies needs. If doing an at home visit, you can trust me to take care of all of your dog's needs without worry. I'm currently back at home with full availability and a wide open schedule. I love being busy and active and am excited by any opportunity to get outside and fill my schedule. For all services, whether walking, dog sitting or just checking in on your animal, I'll make sure to put the best wishes of your pet and you first. Respecting your animals and property is my number 1 priority.
About: With over 20 years of dog sitting experience, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, playtime, and plenty of one-on-one attention. I understand canine behavior and body language, allowing me to create a calm, safe, and happy environment for every dog. Dependable, patient, and loving, I treat each dog as if they were my own—because they deserve nothing less. Dog sitting and dog walking are a seamless part of my daily life, not a side job. My days are built around consistent schedules, regular walks, feeding times, play, and companionship, making it easy to give each dog the attention and structure they need. Daily walks aren’t rushed—they’re a chance for exercise, enrichment, and connection. Because caring for dogs is woven into my routine, they receive reliable, calm, and attentive care that feels familiar and stress-free. For me, it’s simply how I live—sharing my days with dogs and making sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I care for dogs in their own homes to keep their routines consistent and stress-free. I follow each dog’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, paying close attention to their individual needs and personalities. Daily walks are tailored to energy level and age, and I provide companionship, enrichment, and calm supervision throughout the visit. I also handle medication if needed, maintain food and water areas, clean up after walks, and keep the home tidy. By caring for dogs in familiar surroundings, I help them feel secure, comfortable, and well loved while their owners are away.

“Courtney was absolutely exceptional! Stella had a great time in her care! Her property is amazing! She had excellent communication; sent pictures while out on a walk, and kept me in the loop and reassured while we were away! She definitely went over and above to pamper, exercise and take great care of Stella! We would 100% book again and reccommend Courtney!”

About: Hi there, My name is Natalie and I live with my partner Jesse, our 12 year old pug Bernie and our 4 year old Terrier mix, Lucy. We are huge dog lovers and often spend our weekends going for long walks and volunteering for a local animal rescue. We would treat your pet like our own while they are in our care. Every day we make sure our two dogs are cared for and happy. Our joy and purpose comes from seeing them living their best lives. Safety and lost dog prevention always comes first. It is so important that a dog is secure and never given the opportunity to be in harms way.
“Jess took AMAZING car of our big boy Bruce! She sent photos and videos, Bruce was exhausted from all the fun he had. Jess’s beautiful girl Kali was a great companion for Bruce too! We will definitely be using Jess again! Thank you!”
