About: This is our first time getting on Rover but both my husband and I are pet parents and frequently pet sit for a number of friends and family when they travel. I’m an experienced pet parent with two dogs of my own, aged 5 and 6. They’re very friendly and loving and I am very familiar with the care, routine and attention dogs need every day. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level — I am happy to follow your instructions closely to make sure they’re happy and settled. Your pet will have plenty of space and attention with me. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard, giving dogs some space to play and get some fresh air. It’s a non-smoking household and because I live with my husband and mother-in-law, someone will always be home and your pet won’t be left alone for longer than 20 mins if at all. I’m comfortable providing them with regular walks and potty breaks. My dogs are given pee breaks every 4 hours and two walks in the morning and at night right before we sleep. I’m also comfortable with maintaining consistent feeding schedules, playtime, and providing oral medication (what’s not in the list is obvious but I’m also great at cuddles and companionship). My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the pack when staying with us. I work a full time job but I’m mostly remote (I’m lucky). So I’m home throughout and able to give pets plenty of attention and regular breaks. My own dogs are already part of my daily routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and endless cuddles built in. On the rare occasion that I need to go into the office (like once a month but it’s very rare), my husband is home and helps care for the dogs. Snow is playful but also quickly picks up on other dogs' ques who may wish to have their space. Snow is friendly with cats and dogs. At this time I am providing one on one care so that I can provide my full attention to your pup and mine. Your pup will have a very big and clean yard with a shaded area if they like being outside. Further my home offers a fenced area to allow them to run and play as well. I offer a large crate if needed. Walks/excercise is provided as well as potty breaks depending on your dog but can be provided every 30 minutes if needed. Live in quiet neighbourhood. Able to administer oral medication if required. My house is simple and clustter free so you won't have to worry that your dog will eat anything. Photos are provided daily with updates of your four legged baby if you so wish. I will request a meet and greet prior to taking in your pup to ensure that my dog and yours get along before a long stay. If you need last minute care I will still need a meet and greet for the safety of both your pup and mine. I do have two small children one who is mostly not home during the week. He loves dogs and is gentle with our dog. My work schedule allows me to care for your pup without an issue. Your pup will not be left alone for long periods of time if need be and will receive plenty of love and care. I have a fenced area for your pup to be free in, a side road to walk your pup, or an unfenced area to allow your pup to run freely.
