About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.

One of our dogs is very shy, yet she took to Christine very quickly. Their home is perfect in terms of the layout and with a fenced back yard. Christine sent us photos over the 3 day period and is very responsive in her replies. One of our dogs is challenged to navigate stairs however Christine had a gate to prevent her from going up the stairs and potentially hurting herself. She attended to their idiosyncrasies such as regular 4 times a day feeding and dish placement to prevent food theft and bullying and more. When I returned home, my cats were calm and content. Besides the beautiful daily photos and updates Angela sent while I was away for a week, I knew Juno and Luna had been well cared for just by their demeanour which was markedly different from when they have gone to boarding facilities. About: I’ve had cats in my home all of my life, but have had my own cat for 3.5 years now. My cat is part bengal, so naturally he is very energetic and smart. I’ve taught him to sit, high five, lay down, and fetch. I’ve given him both oral and topical (such as eye drops) medications successfully, and have always followed veterinary instructions closely. I clean his litter boxes daily, as he is quite particular. Furthermore, I’ve done a lot of research about cats in order to give him the best life possible. He has a water fountain away from his food because cats prefer running water, he is fed a special urinary care dry food because of past issues, and he is also fed wet food because moisture is of utmost importance for cats and their kidneys - especially male cats. I never keep flowers or toxic plants in my house for his safety, and I take him outside on a leash so that he is able to get the stimulation he needs with less risk. I’m a very particular cat owner, and would understand and respect any other cat owners preferences, just as I’d hope someone would do the same for me.

I have done house sittings anywhere from 1 night to 5 week long stays, I’ve even just dropped in for a few hours to keep your animals company and take them on walks.
