“Katherine is absolutely incredible, from the first time you meet her and her adorable daughter you can see how much they absolutely adore animals! I was constantly updated about rozie and the pictures and videos were absolutely heartwarming. Rozie can’t wait to go back to this incredible house with some incredible people. Do your animal a favour and see if you’ll be lucky enough for Katherine to look after your animal.”

“Heather was 10/10 during the whole process. It was our first time user rover and she made everything seem so flawless! She constantly sent photos and updates and when there was a change of plans, Heather didn’t hesitate! I will definitely be booking my girly with her again!”

“Our 11 month old whoodle had a blast with Allison and Scott. Ember is a very social pup and it was like staying at camp for her! We were given a tour of their amazing property before our first booking was confirmed. During her stay we received lots of photo and video updates. Ember came home a very tired and happy pup, took 3 days to recover from her “puppy hangover”. Happy to have found our new go-to boarder!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better family to take care of my 10 year old Goldendoodle, Ginger! Anne and Andrew were amazing with caring for her while I was overseas for two months! Anne kept me in the loop with tons of updates and pictures. You could tell Ginger really grew attached to them, and she seemed so comfortable and happy there. She was spoiled and allowed up on the couch and even cuddled up in their bed! They also have an older Goldendoodle who’s the sweetest, and they got along so well. Their place is beautiful, safe, and perfect for dogs. I’d absolutely trust them with Ginger anytime and will definitely use them again. Anne and Andrew are truly wonderful dog sitters!”

“Tyson loved his stay! We appreciated being able to leave him with Susan and Brian in their home and their wonderful care while away. Great communication/pics sent. Will definitely use again. Thank you!”

“Jillian was amazing. Lots of updates with photos. Our Luna really seemed to love her. She also took Luna on some good hikes/walks as she requires lots of exercise. Will definitely use her again!!”

“Sarah took fantastic care of my elderly cat. We had a car accident while we were away and had to extend my cat's stay. Sarah was so kind and was happy to keep him another night! I really felt my fur baby was in great hands. Thank you Sarah🩷”

“Max has never stayed away - and as a nervous pet owner - I was reassured throughout his stay with updates and pictures! I couldn't have asked for a better experience :)”

“Where do i start, Catherine saved me when I was in need of a sitter for my luna at the last minute. She took such good care of my baby even when she was dealing with an ear infection . The pictures alone says it all and who knew she would like cats lol. . Catherine was warm and welcoming from the beginning to the end . Luna will be back there soon. My luna was in good hands. Thank you 😊”

“Cindy made us feel very comfortable with leaving our girl with her. This was our first time using Rover and I’m so happy we picked Cindy. She has excellent communication skills and made sure to send pictures throughout Maple’s stay. We will absolutely take Maple back to Cindy’s next time we are going away.”

“Sara took excellent care of our energetic Airedale terrier. He had multiple walks, a clean and spacious house, and large fenced backyard. She sent us plenty of photos and updates, and we knew that our dog was very well cared for. They have 2 friendly, non-aggressive dogs that played well with our dog. I highly recommend Sara and Cody for anyone who wants exceptional care for their dog.”

About: Our family provides pet care together, with myself and my husband, Vitaly, being fully responsible for all pets in our care. Our 11-year-old daughter is also deeply involved and passionate about animals. She has completed courses through the local Humane Society and is currently finishing a pet sitter course. She loves helping with walks, playtime, feeding, brushing, and giving animals lots of affection under our supervision. We also have another 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. Animals are already a meaningful part of our family life, and we are planning to welcome our own dog within the next two years. In many ways, pet care has become a beautiful opportunity for us to spend time with dogs while continuing to learn and prepare as future dog owners ourselves. As a family, we enjoy learning about dog behaviour, training, and care, and even love watching Cesar Millan together. We have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. We have completed both a 10-day farm sitting stay in the summer and a 7-day stay in the winter for close friends with a hobby farm that includes two dogs, a cat, goats, chickens, and other animals. Our responsibilities included daily feeding, animal care, cleaning, outdoor chores, and even milking goats. In addition, we have experience fostering dogs in our home, providing pet care for friends and neighbours, dog walking, and drop-in visits/check-ins for bathroom breaks and companionship. One summer, we also helped a neighbour with daily noon-time puppy check-ins for six weeks while they were at work. We are a calm, caring, outdoorsy family who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. We are best suited for dogs who are comfortable around children and reasonably calm around cats. We do have a cat in the home, though she has her own quiet spaces and hiding spots where she can retreat comfortably when needed. My husband and I both work as entrepreneurs mostly from home. We do sometimes leave the house for around 2-4 hrs for different activities with our homeschooled children. Sometimes we can bring dogs with us, sometimes they need to stay at the house. Our family like to take regular walks in the morning and evening so we don’t need to change our routine too much when we add a dog to the house. We have a fenced yard and three level house. We are extra tidy when dogs are around and are careful with leaving food out. We once had a dog eat a brick of butter from the counter…let’s say we learned our lesson!
“Warren and Angelika were AMAZING! Our dogs first stay with them was an extended stay and they ensured that we always knew she was having a good time! They let us feel at ease knowing she was in a great place while we were away. They took great care of her ❤️”

“Having Richard care for my dog gave me great relief as a first time Rover customer. Everything seemed quite seamless. Richard was very welcoming and showed me some of the area of his home where my dog would be spending some time there. And the backyard was a nice big fenced in area!! Definitely would recommend his services and will utilize his help again!”

“Kristen and Jeffrey are wonderful pet sitter, they took excellent care of our furry troop! Right off the bat when I first met them I got an excellent first impression. They were very warm and friendly and were great with my pet! When I came home after after being away my pet was very relaxed and happy. During my time away Kristen and Jeffrey sent me photos of my pet having fun which was really nice ? I look forward to booking Kristen and Jeffrey again in the future!! Thanks for doing such a great job, keep up the great work!! ❤”

“Natasha and Sandro were amazing! This was my first time leaving Riley overnight, so I was a bit anxious, but they were super reassuring and kept me updated the whole time. They were really communicative, and it was clear Riley was happy and well taken care of. She came home relaxed and content. I was really happy with the experience. I’d definitely book with them again!”

“Jessica and family treated my dog, Cooper, just like he was their own and I knew he was in good hands from the moment I met them. They sent many updates, including photos and videos. I will definitely be using their dog sitting services again and highly recommend them!”

“Angi was phenomenal every step of the way! From coordinating the weekend to the actual dog sitting, it was a great experience and we were so happy/comfortable. Highly recommend and I would rebook with Angi when we’re in the area in the future!”
“Bella and Ginger had a fabulous vacation with Santanna and Dan. I was kept up to date on how they were doing. Loved tge fact of being in home with Santanna and Dan. Highly recommend.”

“We had recently moved to a new area and were going away for a few days and no longer had any friends or family close by to check in on Milo and Ophelia while we were away. “Davrielle was amazing with my 2 fur babies! During the week I was gone, I received daily communications and pictures/videos from Davrielle, letting me know my 2 cats were taken care of. Davrielle's tone of voice to my cats in the videos was so sweet, making it easy for my cat with anxiety to feel more comfortable with her each day. My cats also get daily medications and 1 gets a puffer each morning, so the attention to detail and care Davrielle took was so very appreciated. I came back to a clean apartment - and Davrielle had even re-washed the bedding/towels! I would highly recommend Davrielle to any pet owners. Thank you Davrielle! - Holly & Maow”

“Every single interaction with Warren and Angelika is amazing. My puppy gets excited when we’re going down there, and is practically leaping out of my arms at the door. She comes home happy and tired. I’m pretty sure the days she doesn’t go, she’s judging me for not being as fun at Warren’s. :) I feel genuinely blessed to have found Warren. I feel totally sure that she’s being treated well, and have no anxiety at all. That’s worth more than gold!”

“Michelle is fantastic! She took such great care of Oakley. She is a great communicator, attentive and caring. Oakley had the best time hanging with Michelle and Molly! I will absolutely have Michelle dog sit for Oakley again in the future.”

I wouldn't hesitate to go back and would highly recommend Janine as a dog-sitter for others!”

About: I love dogs and will take care of yours like my own: extra snuggles when they miss you. I have owned and trained three dogs and treats are the best tools to keep the experience positive for all. Our dog Winter loves all friendly dogs and would always welcome a playmate. She is used to having and sharing our home with other dogs. Walking a pet at the end of a work day is wonderful way to know the day is over. Dogs always bring a smile to my face and the stress is gone! I will be happy to share photos of your fur baby when you are away: make you feel not as far away from them. We know you miss them. Lol I am currently at home so lots of time with your dog and lots of playing and walking outside will be provided. Your pet will come back home tired! We have a large yard on a quiet country road. Your dog will spend lots of time outside getting exercice and socialization with our dog Winter.
About: I retired in 2020 and returned to college to receive my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma in 2023. I have been a foster parent to hundreds of animals over my lifetime, specializing in animals who require medication and specialized medical care. I am retired and available to watch your pet at any time. Last minute and longer term care remains an option. I do travel on occasion but this would be communicated with plenty of notice. I have just moved to the Fergus area and reside in a park-setting which has a fenced leash free area on site. There is a lake should your pup like the water! I can accommodate crate trained animals however my general thinking is that your pet would be like my own were, snuggling on the bed or couch. I realize how important consistency and routine is to your pets wellbeing and would ensure that your routines are followed should I be staying at your home.
About: My husband and I own a beautiful 100-acre farm in Grey Highlands, 40-minutes from Arthur, and about a 60-minute commute from the GTA. Both of us are avid animal lovers, who are 'addicted' to rescuing. We are a foster family for Sato Saved Dog Rescue out of Brantford, ON and occasionally have foster dogs in our care. Dog-Sitting History... - Worked at Countryside Boarding & Grooming for three years - I have been dogsitting family and friend's dogs since 2013 - Both of us have a combined 16-years experience with dogs A Little About Us... - My husband is a Heavy-Equipment Mechanic out of the GTA - I am a Graphic Designer who works from home full-time - We have a pack of seven rescue dogs - We have six dog-savvy indoor/outdoor cats - Our property is partially fenced (not ideal for flight risk dogs) - We have two large ponds on the property - Lots of space for dogs to run around and play Routine... - First potty time is 4:00 am when my husband leaves for work (this is optional) - Second potty time is between 7:30 am and 8:00 am, and they are let out for an hour - Lunchtime potty is around 12:00 pm, and they are let out for an hour - Dinner time is between 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Bedtime potty is between 11:00 pm - 12:00 am *Throughout the day, the dogs are let out as they want, with many short breaks throughout the day. Outside duration is also determined by weather, if it's really gross out - the time will be shortened. *Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any un-fixed dogs (male & female) over the age of 6-months - No Acceptions* Meet-and-Greets... Before a new dog comes into our care, we request that we do one to two meet-and-greets. This gives us the chance to meet you and your dog and see the chemistry / energy with our pack. This also gives you a chance to see our home, property, and meet our dogs. Incidents & Accidents... We believe in 100% transparency when we have dogs in our care. We never want anything to happen when your dog(s) are in our care, but, we always say they are children with teeth. Disagreements can happen, but we do our best to avoid any of that behaviour. When your dog(s) are here, we will give you day-to-day updates; whether it be on their eating habits, bowel movements, upset stomachs, accidents in the house, and even scratches and cuts. We want you to have absolute trust in us, while your dog(s) are with us. Outdoor Safety... For the most part, when dogs are a part of a pack they stick together. However, this isn't always the case should a dog like to wonder OR not have the best recall. In these situations, we like to leash the dog until they gain our trust - we use a long lead, and as they continue their stay here we work on using the leash less and less. We have had a lot of success with this, but each dog is different and we treat them as such! Home Environment... - Dogs sleep in our mudroom at the back of our house* - Small crates can be accomodated, but they are not necessary - We have lots of blankets & beds in the mudroom - Dogs are permitted on our furniture on the main floor (couches) - The mudroom acts as a 'holding area' when they are muddy or wet *Dogs are thoroughly tested in our mudroom prior to bedtime, to make sure that there are no issues, toys are removed at bedtime as well. Typically, the dogs are so tired at the end of the day that bedtime goes off without a hitch. Cleaning Routine... We take great pride in our home, and cleanliness is very important not only for ourselves but for our animals' well-being as well. I use Nature's Miracle Stain & Odour Remover + Vinegar and Water to clean floors and walls. This is done frequently as I have a little OCD regarding the cleanliness of the home. This is done both during dog visits and after each dog visit.
“My husky Drake had an amazing time with Cory and her family. Drake was excited to meet their puppies Skye and Piper and Drake became friends with them fast. Cory keeps sending update and photos and make us also feel comfortable. Definitely going back to her.”

About: Hi! My name is Tony, and I’m a reliable, patient, and animal-loving dog walker based in your local area. I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, cared for, and getting the right amount of exercise and attention. I take a calm, attentive approach with every dog and adjust walks based on their age, energy level, and personality. I’m punctual, respectful of your home, and great at following instructions — whether that’s leash preferences, routes, feeding routines, or medications. Safety always comes first. I’m currently focused on daytime dog walking and drop-in visits, making me a great fit for working professionals, seniors, and families who need dependable help during the day. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and notes after every visit so you always know how your dog is doing. I’d love to meet you and your pup — feel free to message me with any questions! I offer flexible daytime availability on weekdays and limited weekends. Walks and drop-ins are scheduled reliably, and I communicate clearly if timing adjustments are ever needed. Safety is my top priority. I follow instructions carefully, keep dogs secure on leash, respect your home, and provide reliable updates after every visit or walk.
“Jennifer was amazing. While booking she was quick to respond and answer any questions we had. On the day of she reconfirmed the booking, showed up on time, went for a very nice long walk with our dog and made sure everything was closed and locked on her way out. The report after the walk had nice photos too! We will be booking again with her in the future!”

About: I’ve always grown up with animals. My family currently has 2 cats and one pug. I usually feed and walk the dog. There is lots of room for play time and walks! We have a fenced yard. *Update* Our beloved pug, Milo, who is seen in my profile pictures, has recently passed away on June 3rd, so it’s been quite devastating. His passing really prompted me to do more Rover gigs because I miss having a doggo around.. Currently, I work from home, so i’m available anytime! I mainly do many house sittings, and can offer lots of love and cuddles before, during and after work. Rest assured your pet, they would be spoiled with love and so much affection.. I have a spacious home. The home has a large fenced yard for your doggo to play with no issues: I am also pretty flexible and can stay at your place, just so your fur baby is comfy. We can most definitely accommodate to dogs, since we are in a backsplit home, with a fenced yard. I have a cat named Niko. Niko is pretty good with other dogs, as Milo lived with us. He mostly hangout in the basement, where it is cooler and also he is very shy and timid and prefers that.

Whether they need frequent potty breaks, playtime, or extra cuddles throughout the day, I’ll be there to keep them happy and comfortable.

Thank you!”

“Sarah took fantastic care of my elderly cat. We had a car accident while we were away and had to extend my cat's stay. Sarah was so kind and was happy to keep him another night! I really felt my fur baby was in great hands. Thank you Sarah🩷”

“Nikol is absolutely amazing! I know how much my dog 'Buddy' enjoyed his time at her home because he was so excited when we picked him up... but exhausted on the way home. I was told he ran around and played with her dog all day. I really appreciated the messages and photos from Nikol about what he got up to, it made me feel so comfortable leaving him for the day! Would definitely book her again and highly recommend her.”
