At our meet and greet, she clearly knew how to work with dogs (and loved doing so), but also took no great care to understand my schedule and what I do. She sent oodles of pictures during a 4-day stay, during which my dog was happily playing or snoozing - great peace of mind. On pickup, my dog was happy and cheerful, and much better behaved than when I leave her at a kennel. Will book again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have an Australian Shepherd of my own along with a cat and a bunny! My dog would love to join all of the adventures but also understands that not everybody wants to be friends! I am currently work a part time job and have a flexible schedule! I am available mornings, afternoons and nights! This includes weekends as well. I have an unfenced yard and my dog is let outside by leash. About: Hi! I’m brand new to the Meaford/Collingwood/Thornbury area, but have visited ever since I was little. Living here has been nothing but amazing, since moving from the busy city. A little bit about my pet history, I had two bunnies over the course of my years in elementary school and early high school. Their names were Oscar and Pongo - they were the sweetest little guys and lived very long happy lives. A few years later in September 2017, we got our special girl Lola. For over 8 wonderful years, she was the light of our lives. She passed away in February 2026 from cancer and we miss her so so much. Since then, I’ve been wanting to spend more time around dogs again - their energy, their companionship, the simple joy of a good walk. Getting to know dogs (and people!) in this community feels like a natural next step as I settle into life here. I’m patient, gentle, and give every animal in my care the same love and attention I gave Oscar, Pongo and Lola. I am a very active individual as well, so I look forward to early morning walks and jogs, a lot of playtime and teaching animals tricks. I’ve also had hands on experience caring for dogs outside of my own family. I’ve looked after friends’ big dogs such as a German Shepherd named Sky, and I’m very comfortable with high energy breeds - Lola herself was a cockapoo, so I know that zoomies and cuddle combo very well! Extended family members also have high energy dogs I’ve helped care for over the years. On the medical side, I have experience administering medication to mid-to-senior dogs, since Lola was on medication a few times in her later years At the end of the day, caring for animals has always felt second nature to me! I’d love the chance to bring that same care, patience, and love to your pet while getting to know this community I now call home! Pet care fits into my daily routine pretty easily! I work from home, Monday to Friday, from 9-5 and have the ability to take walks throughout the day. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have an Australian Shepherd of my own along with a cat and a bunny! My dog would love to join all of the adventures but also understands that not everybody wants to be friends! I am currently work a part time job and have a flexible schedule! I am available mornings, afternoons and nights! This includes weekends as well. I have an unfenced yard and my dog is let outside by leash. This is compensated by MANY walks in a day and lots of adventures. My home is spacious and my dog is extremely welcoming and loves to make fur friends.

My currently dog Maxie is a rescue that came from a horrible background and wouldn’t even come to us the first day we met her. Now two years later she is the most snuggling loving girl. Over that time I've lived with and looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, and rats, so I'm comfortable with a wide range of pets and their different personalities and needs. My professional background includes work at animal hospitals, grooming salons, and animal rescues. That experience, along with caring for my own pets, taught me how to deliver caring, loving, and thoughtful care that is also medically aware. I'm comfortable providing medical support, administering medications, and caring for special-needs dogs. In several situations I've been able to recognize the early signs of serious medical emergencies in dogs and respond appropriately. Working in rescue also deepened my understanding of animal behaviour and stress. I know that being away from their person can be hard on pets (and on their owners), so I focus on creating a calm, reassuring environment and keeping communications clear so both of you can feel more at ease. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule, so I'm available any time during the week for drop-ins, dog or cat hangouts at my home, or working from your home so your pets can stay in their own familiar space. I am also available weekends as well Just let me know what works for you and your pets! I currently have a pet free home. I do have crates if your pet prefers that or they can cuddle up in bed. Your dog would only be walked on a leash or put out on a very secure, strong cable as I do not have a fenced yard. In your home I would follow any rules and routines you have in place.
