About: I’ve looked after my cat for 14 years, he’s a senior now, daily oral meds, food monitoring and measuring, extra love and attention, extra grooming, close monitoring for possible symptoms or discomfort, arthritis shots, after vet care, monitoring litter box and keeping track of bowel movements, and all the other care and little details that goes into caring about our precious fur babies. About: I retired in 2020 and returned to college to receive my Registered Veterinary Technician diploma in 2023. I have been a foster parent to hundreds of animals over my lifetime, specializing in animals who require medication and specialized medical care. I am retired and available to watch your pet at any time. Last minute and longer term care remains an option. I do travel on occasion but this would be communicated with plenty of notice. I have just moved to the Fergus area and reside in a park-setting which has a fenced leash free area on site. There is a lake should your pup like the water! I can accommodate crate trained animals however my general thinking is that your pet would be like my own were, snuggling on the bed or couch. I realize how important consistency and routine is to your pets wellbeing and would ensure that your routines are followed should I be staying at your home.

About: Pets are like Pringles around my house, you can never just have one! My name is Joanna Reay and I am a Pet owner with 7 dogs, two bunnies named “Marble-Jean” and “Latte-Bean” that we rescued. I have two Great Danes, a Morkie, two Chihuahuas, a sweet Mini Aussiedoodle with Dwarfism that we rescued last year and a Cockapoo that we recently rescued. As a mom to 5 children (my oldest is now 24 and my youngest is 6) we have had many pets over the years…turtles, ducks, guinea pigs, hamsters,bunnies, cats etc. They all become apart of our family and we love and nurture them all. Did I forget to mention we also own two horses? I am a stay at home mom of 5 children with one younger child (age 6) as my other children are all older. She too is amazing with animals, her most favourite best friend in the world is our 4lb Chihuahua named Cooper. My hours are flexible and I can service Erin & Hillsburgh or close surrounding area. As a pet owner to many animals I know that each one is different and could possibly have different schedules. My Great Danes have a much different schedule than my small dogs do for safety reasons. Grooming fell into my life through my Dad, he knew I always go back to talking about a career with animals and that I've always had a creative/artistic interest and eventually encouraged me to try it. Fast forward to the present and I'm loving this career, it's definitely not an easy job working with animals but cuddling puppies makes up for it! I am also a dog owner to a beautiful 14 year old male Golden Retriever named Dash; his name still matches his personality to this day. He is a very rambunctious and adventurous dog who never gives up on our long hikes. I plan on giving your pets as much love and affection as possible - I completely understand being busy and not always having time to give proper attention to your pet. I will fill that void and make sure they are happy for when you return. My goal is to keep the animals and myself safe and make everyone happy.
