“Heather and Matt were absolutely incredible with Charlie during our 10 days away. We had met with another sitter before them and it just didn’t feel right, but from our very first meet and greet with Heather and Matt, we immediately knew they were the perfect fit. We felt confident leaving Charlie in their care. They treated him like part of their family and truly loved him. Their communication was exceptional—we received regular updates and lots of photos, which gave us such peace of mind. This was especially important to us as Charlie had recently had surgery to remove a lump on his back and still had stitches. They followed all instructions perfectly and were so attentive and caring. Charlie is also very spoiled and loves being cozy with his blankets, and they went above and beyond by setting up his bed near the fireplace to keep him warm! We felt completely at ease the entire time and were so impressed that we’ve already booked another stay. We cannot recommend Heather and Matt highly enough.”

“Buddy was looked after very well. We really enjoyed the pictures that they sent to us.we hope to use them again for future trips, because we know he’ll be well looked after”

“Catia was amazing with my boy! She sent plenty of updates and pictures, which I loved! She also took him for multiple walks and he came home happy and content. I highly recommend her services. I don’t trust just anyone with my dogs, but I’m glad I found Catia!”

“This was our dog's first experience with a dog sitter and we were ALL nervous! Shelly made us feel very comfortable and took such great care of our pup. We were very grateful to have pictures and updates throughout the evening to reassure us and really appreciated her flexibility, kindness and responsiveness. Thank you very much”

“Hayley did a fantastic job with Coco. Hayley responds quickly. She made a lot of pictures so we don't worry about Coco. I saw Coco's pictures lounging on the couch, walking together with Penny. Thank you so much for taking care of Coco. We will do this again.”

“Ruth was quite attentive to Molly, as well as putting my mind at ease with daily notes. Molly was well cared for. Ruth was patient with Mollys anxiety on hardwood floors, by putting out her carpets and runners! We will connect with Ruth again!”

“Aishwera was amazing. Rocco came home happy and healthy. Aishwera is a very knowledgeable dog person. She also sent us daily updates, videos and photos. We will definitely go to her again next time we go away. Thanks again Ash!💗🐕”

“Sandy and her partner were lovely to communicate & coordinate with and I received regular updates on Shadow’s stay with them. They have a big back yard that is fenced in that my dog loved to explore and a nice deck for him to sun tan on (his fav). Would highly recommend Sandy as a rover sitter!”

“Thanks, Jennifer & Brent. As always, Copper had a great visit with you and we really appreciate your flexibility and accommodating style! Ron, Jennifer & Copper”

“Lynn was great with Coco. She walked couple regularly and gave us several updates on how she was doing and sent us some pictures. Thank you so much Lynn. We will book you again!”

“Samantha took great care of our Old English Sheepdog (Mick) while we were away for a week over the holidays. We were updated with photos and can’t say enough good things about her and the care/attention she provided. We highly recommend Samantha and will gladly be repeat customers. Thank you Samantha!”

“I can't say enough good things about Liz. This was the first time to put our cat with someone new but Liz's love and kindness put us to ease. She sent daily photo updates, she treated Quinn like her own. There was no other pets and the house is well prepared for hosting pets. Quinn definitely miss her and will be back for sure. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended”

“Jen was amazing with my girl! She loved her just as much, if not more than I could while I was away traveling for work. She sent me updates and photos of Phoebe having the best time with her 2 girls and sweet Homer. I’m so glad I found someone I can trust for the long term, and where Phoebe will get the love and care she deserves, and will look forward to going back when I’m out of town.”

“I’m so so happy with Jeff’s care of Athena. He provided lots of updates and pictures and took her on long walks every day. I’ll definitely be rebooking with him!”

“Svetlana and Artur were amazzzing with our girl Maggie!! She felt right at home and was well cared for. They provided us with lots of photos and communication during our trip which made us feel at ease. She seemed to have the best time and loved spending time with their dog too. We will definitely use Svetlana and Artur in the future and would highly recommend for others!!! Thank you!!”

“Daniel and Yasemin took such great care of my Gigi! They followed all of my instructions and provided daily updates, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. I felt completely reassured knowing she was in such good hands. I will definitely be rebooking with them again!”

“This was the first positive boarding experience our 9yr old golden retriever has ever had (admittedly he usually stays in kennels). Normally, our retriever is stressed and anxious but Maddie clearly has a lot of experience and settled our dog almost immediately. Her home and yard provide the perfect environment whether your dog is active or just prefers to lounge on the couch. Her obedient lab and daschund were great companions. A nearby park and green space/creek provide a convenient off-the-road exercise venue. Maddie walked our dog right at sunrise before it got too hot and gauged his energy level throughout the 3 day stay to ensure he wasn't overworked. She provided frequent updates with photos and clearly he was a very happy dog. Medication was also property administered. I certainly plan to use Maddie's services again and highly recommend her!”

“Kerri-Lynn was great with our dogs, one of which is 14 years old and deaf and one who is timid and afraid of new places. She kept sending pics of pur dogs throughout the night and it was obvious they had settled in perfectly and comfortably!”

“Collin was wonderful to have looking after my precious Luna. We met before my vacation to put my anxiety to rest. He had my kitty for 9 days and treated her very well. The communication and care he offered was appreciated. I received regular photos and videos during my trip. He even bought her some new toys. I forgot her scratch post when I picked her up and he dropped it off for me subsequently. Thank you so much Collin!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for about 10 years from having 2 cats at home and one dog, I am all taking care of a few dogs in Canada where I study and take them for walks and house sit when the owners are out of town. it helps me take a break from doing whatever to care for the pet and walk it and spend time with an animal for a few hours in a day to get my mindset different. On a daily basis I wake up and feed the dog and then take him/ her for a walk and play with the pet for a while and then take him/ her for an other walk and then at night I feed him/ her again and take him for an other walk and then one more before bed so I’m taking the pet for a walk around 4-5 times a day depends.

“Stacey was amazing. She checked on our cats every day, and gave oral medication 2x daily to our older cat. She is wonderful and reliable. Thank you Stacey! I felt so much more comfortable being away, knowing that Monty was in good hands.... :-)”

My work schedule is quite flexible as I work from home and don’t have long work hours which gives me plenty of time to take breaks in between so that I can spend quality time to spend and care for your pets like my own I have a fenced yard so that your pets can play freely. There is lots of space for them to move around. I have friends who have left me with keys to their homes and house sit for them and their pets so you can have trust that no harm will come to your pet

About: Loving care for your beloved pets while you’re away 💚 I treat your pets like family. Whether you need a reliable sitter, someone to watch your pets while on vacation or extra love for, I am here to help with compassionate, experienced care. Pet care is a happy part of my everyday life. I love keeping pets on their usual routines, getting to know their unique personalities, and making sure they feel safe, comfy, and loved while you’re away. Reliable, attentive care—with lots of love, happy tails, and purrs included. 💕🐾 When pets come to my home, they’re treated like part of the family—just with more fresh air and room to roam. I live on a quiet country property that offers a calm, cozy, and playful environment where pets can relax, explore, and enjoy a little extra freedom (safely supervised, of course). Between outdoor time, walks, naps, cuddles, and sticking to familiar routines, your pet gets lots of attention and care throughout the day. My goal is simple: a safe, happy stay with country comfort, plenty of love, and very content tails and paws. 🌾🐕🐾

About: I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own, I've grown up always having pets in my home. From caring for horses, chickens, ducks and other farm animals, to caring for cats, dogs, fish, turtles and other reptiles. I have experience handling dogs with structured training. I will happily follow whatever training their pet parents are practicing. My 2 Dutchie/Malis are professionally trained by private trainers at Sheild K9 in Puslinch. I'm a community healthcare worker so I don't work long hours. I'm always out and about around all parts of Lincoln, Grimsby, Smithville, Dunnville, Welland, Wainfleet, Lowbanks, Pelham and parts of St. Catherines as well. I can easily fit a visit into my regular work day or I can see them before and/or after I work too. One of the beauties of being a community healthcare worker is I manage my own daily work schedule. I follow the care plans each individual client sets out for their home and pets. You know your pet best and you know what they like, I'm more than happy to follow my clients instructions. I can provide updates, progress notes, and pictures of your pets upon request.

About: No request from you is too big!! My husband and I live in the middle of Welland. I started a not-for-profit dog rescue (Red Dog Rescue) from my home. We have saved 500 dogs off the streets of Texas since January 2020 and re-homed them here in Ontario. I left it late 2021 as the stress was too much but I do still foster the occasional dog! We own 5 rescue dogs total: 1. Bulldog (named KD) 2. Beagle (Lucy) 3. Collie (Kody) 4. Husky (Pretzel) 5. Bulldog (Silver) We go for walks, runs, hiking on trails and trips to the park daily! We do not go to dog parks due to the risk of incidents. We believe a tired dog is a good dog. Frozen peanut butter or treats in Kong's are given MINIMUM daily depending on allergies/sensitivities. Our love for these animals is unending and all dog guests are treated like our own. We live a very active lifestyle but are willing to tone it down to care for sick/old dogs as well. Contagious sicknesses however we cannot accept due to the high amount of dogs we have coming and going. We have a private dog area for dogs that are not socialized/aggressive but can only take 1 at a time. All dogs are “puppies” in our house, no matter how old they are. Corey and Robyn are Paramedics however Robyn now works from home while on mat leave, so someone is usually always home. We both know first aid and CPR for dogs, as well as any wound care and are willing to take the dog to a vet of your choice if needed, but are able to determine if the dog needs to go to the closest facility in case of an emergency. We both have experience with pilling animals and treating wounds, as well as we can do injections, first aid and CPR. Robyn worked at a vet clinic for 6 years with cats and dogs. She opened a grooming clinic in the downstairs of the vet. Her motto is “no dog left behind” and people brought the most aggressive dogs to her to be trained how to behave and relax/enjoy grooming. Dogs that other groomers turned away. She taught horseback riding lessons to kids and grew up owning one hundred free range hens. She grew up with family dogs as well. She has experience with zoo animals and reptiles having completed the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College. She also used to volunteer grooming at the SPCA in Hamilton as well. Corey grew up with dogs in his house his whole life. His favorite breed is Boxer, but he loves all breeds. Corey is very active. He does CrossFit and soccer and loves to run, but he prefers to do so with the company of a pooch, big or small. One day we hope to move to Texas to rescue dogs as there is a bad crisis of overpopulation there. We are also learning Spanish, this way when the funding is there we plan to drive down to Mexico to assist with the overpopulation of dogs and educating people about the importance of spaying/neutering their pets. Corey’s parents own three of the dogs we fostered in the past from Texas. We were both shift workers so we are happy to do crazy drop off/pick up times, being available 24/7 for those on night shifts! Give us a chance and we will do what we can to accommodate your pet! :) Big or small we love them all! #nodogleftbehind #spayandneuter #adoptdontshop Robyn is usually home all day as she works from home stepping out every so often for a quick appointment. Corey is home every evening/night and usually does evening walks/feeding. We have a large 6.5 ft solid wooden fenced in yard with patio stones, straw and wood chips to avoid mud! Concrete around the edges to avoid any escaping. Three of our dogs are well socialized and love to play! The other two we keep separate. We have a "cat room" and when the dogs are outside playing the cats roam the home! We rotate dogs/cats all day long when they stay with us to make sure everyone gets an adequate time to play/nap. Our dogs are crate trained but if your dog is well trained we can let them roam the home at night while ours sleep in the "doggie room".

About: I’ve always grown up with animals. My family currently has 2 cats and one pug. I usually feed and walk the dog. There is lots of room for play time and walks! We have a fenced yard. *Update* Our beloved pug, Milo, who is seen in my profile pictures, has recently passed away on June 3rd, so it’s been quite devastating. His passing really prompted me to do more Rover gigs because I miss having a doggo around.. Currently, I work from home, so i’m available anytime! I mainly do many house sittings, and can offer lots of love and cuddles before, during and after work. Rest assured your pet, they would be spoiled with love and so much affection.. I have a spacious home. The home has a large fenced yard for your doggo to play with no issues: I am also pretty flexible and can stay at your place, just so your fur baby is comfy. We can most definitely accommodate to dogs, since we are in a backsplit home, with a fenced yard. I have a cat named Niko. Niko is pretty good with other dogs, as Milo lived with us. He mostly hangout in the basement, where it is cooler and also he is very shy and timid and prefers that.
About: I’ve spent the past few years helping care for dogs for friends, family, and people in my community. I genuinely love being around dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy on their walks. I’m patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, leash preferences, exercise needs, and any special care requests. I enjoy long walks, outdoor activity, and giving dogs plenty of attention and positive interaction. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and personalities, from playful dogs who love exercise to calmer dogs who prefer a slower pace. I also make communication a priority and can provide updates and photos during walks so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands. I currently have a flexible weekday schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting during most weekdays, including afternoons and evenings. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I make it a priority to be dependable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs and routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, energy level, and any special instructions so they feel secure and well cared for. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure pets have fresh water, attention, exercise, and a calm environment. During walks, I stay alert, use secure leashing practices, and avoid unsafe situations or overly crowded areas when needed. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to animal behaviour, and I believe building trust with both pets and owners is important. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.
About: If you’re in need of top-notch care for your beloved pets, you’ve come to the right place. I’m passionate about all animals and cherish the moments I’m able to spend with them. I’ve had pets my whole life and love taking care of them, we had a potbelly pig growing up and I had a Chihuahua for 13 years and now have Coco the Cockapoo. You can rely on me for loving and caring for your pet. I would love to meet you and your pets before booking so that you you have the opportunity to get to know me and I become acquainted with your pet. My most important concern is that your pets feel safe and cared for and the parents truly feel that I’m dependable, reliable and a honest human being. Rest assured I prioritize the well being and happiness of your pets above all else. I’m on ODSP and not working other than dog sitting or cat sitting. I’m available any time that you need me to look after your pets I have a fully fenced school right near me I can take them or if it’s in your home I will take them on walks or to the dog park if you want.
About: Friends and neighbours rely on me to care for their pets. My kids (9 + 6) also love to help provide love and care to the pets in our life. We currently dog sit for my friend’s floofy sheepadoodle in our home multiple times a year. We walk many neighbours dogs, and cat sit when they are away. I have also been a cat owner for most of my adult life. I am self employed and work from home therefore I have an extremely flexible schedule. I don’t have any of my own 4 legged pals right now as my oldest son plays rep sports throughout the year (hockey and baseball) which brings us on the road a lot for tournaments and travel games. It wouldn’t be appropriate to get our own family pet right now but we would LOVE to care for yours when we are home ♥️. If you are comfortable, we can also bring your dog to the ball park to enjoy some fresh air and extra cuddles. We often dog sit for friends at my home and are relied upon for pet sitting for family and friends at their home as well! We would love to meet you! I have a 4 level back split with a fully fenced yard on the central Hamilton mountain. My home is totally pet friendly although I don’t have any furry pets of my own presently (only tropical fish and betas 🙃). I have 2 young energetic kids who love animals and would be over the moon to help care for your fur babes!
About: I come from Ecuador where having a dog as part of the family is very common - so as a dog-lover here in Port Colborne, I am happy to provide the wise loving care you want for your pup. I have a sweet female 2-year-old golden doodle who is totally part of my family. I’d welcome your dog, too - whether it’s for a walk, a day-long play date, or a sleep over. When caring for pets, I feed them, give them fresh water, walk or play with them, and clean up after them. I make sure they're comfortable and happy.
“Eileen and Our golden became instant friends. It’s so evident that Eileen is a true pet lover. She’s kind, gentle and enjoys what she does. We were so impressed we’ve already booked her services for an upcoming dog sit.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life through my family for thirty-three years and cats for twenty-five. Two years ago I adopted my first dog and greatest friend in life, a Golden Retriever named Chewie! Twelve years ago I initially fostered but later adopted two Bombay cats I named Luke and Leia. Luke passed away in 2020 but Leia is still as young as ever at twelve years old! I’m currently looking to make a career change from human services into animal care and seek further knowledge of animals to further my passion for animals! I have a fenced yard for my two year old Golden Retriever so he can roam the yard and do his business as he pleases.

You are guaranteed a genuine, kind, wholehearted animal lover who will provide exceptional care, love, affection, attention, and a comfortable living environment. I currently live in a three-story two bedroom townhouse on my own. While your pet is with me, they will be my number one priority! I'm more than happy to share my bed for cuddles at night, or maintain your routine of sleeping in a dog crate or any other special requests. I am directly across the street from a park, which ensures your pet will receive quality exercise in a beautiful environment that provides flexibility for either independence or socialization along our route. My career as a social worker speaks to my kind, compassionate, attentive nature. I have a small dog as a companion for your fur baby, or if preferred, he can be housed elsewhere. Your pet will be safe and secure in my townhome and only outside on leash. I am a confident dog walker and live in a safe neighbourhood across from a park.
About: I’ve had/taken care of many different types of dogs/cats for as long as I can remember! I grew up with alot of animals in the house and currently have 4 dogs & 3 cats at home! I just moved back to Niagara and I’m looking to hangout with some cats and/or walk some pups in my downtime to get them and myself outside a bit! I usually live in a van fulltime so I can’t take animals into my home but I’d love to come take them for a walk to get out during the day!
About: PET CARE EXPERIENCE I’ve been around animals my whole life — from dogs to hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and cats — and have cared for many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’m comfortable with gentle handling, enclosure cleaning, basic feeding routines, and adjusting care to each pet’s energy, behavior, and routine. I genuinely enjoy learning each animal’s quirks and tailoring my care to help them feel safe, stimulated, and happy. With dogs, I like to incorporate mental enrichment through games and basic trick training — but only if you’re comfortable with it. I use hand gestures paired with verbal cues for clear, positive communication. Some fun commands I’ve worked on include: • “Statue” – freeze in place • “Quiet” – settle and stay calm • “Kiss” – stand still and allow a gentle kiss on the top of the pup’s head • “Out” / “Get your toy” / “In” – for toy retrieval and clean-up routines I previously offered in-home boarding but now focus solely on caring for pets in their own homes. That experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and adapt to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m reopening my availability and excited to welcome new clients again. I’ve worked with pet parents through Rover and personal referrals, and I’m committed to providing dependable, respectful care. I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which gives me the availability to prioritize pet care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Whether your pet is energetic or reserved, I follow their routine, respect their personality, and ensure they feel safe, mentally engaged, and cared for while you’re away. SCHEDULE I’m currently self-employed and doing flexible gig work, which allows me to fit pet care smoothly into my weekly routine. I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and can adjust my schedule to match your pet’s needs. Since I don’t work a traditional 9–5, I can provide attentive, reliable care — whether that’s multiple visits per day or overnight stays in your home. Your pet will always have someone calm, present, and focused on their comfort and routine. SAFETY, TRUST & ENVIRONMENT I currently provide pet care in my clients’ homes, which allows pets to stay relaxed and comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow your routines closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and downtime — so your pet feels secure and well cared for while you’re away. I used to offer boarding in my home and have experience creating safe, calm spaces for pets. While I no longer board animals at my own residence, that experience taught me how to manage routines, monitor behavior, and respond to each pet’s unique needs with patience and care. I take pet care seriously and treat every home with respect — I’m clean, mindful of your space, and always prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness.

“Trisha was fantastic. It was Charlie’s first experience going to a sitter and I was a little nervous. Tricia’s house is warm and friendly. She greeted us at the door and engaged with Charlie immediately. He even felt comfortable enough to run through the house to get a toy! What I really appreciated was how Trisha asked about Charlie’s likes/dislikes and routine. She works really hard to ensure everything is as consistent and comfortable as possible. When I picked him up the next day he was happy and energetic. Thank you Trisha for making our first Rover experience an awesome one. We look forward to Charlie’s next sleepover with you.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Rebecca provided for Lily. She made sure Lily got plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. Rebecca is organized, dependable, and a true dog lover. Lily is already looking forward to her next stay!”

“Thank you for taking such good care of our Winnie! You went above and beyond taking our pup on hikes every day and sending daily photos. This was our first time having to leave her, and you put us at ease with the way you took such good care of our girl!”

“Karen and Jorge were great with our little dog Gracie. Gracie took to them right away, was clearly comfortable in their home and they spoiled her with love and attention. They sent us photos and updates throughout the weekend. We will happily book again with Karen and Jorge.”

“Miryam took amazing care of cooper! She sent lots of photos and kept us updated during his stay which helped put us at ease. Cooper didn't want to leave! Highly recommend Miryam and will be using her again :)”

“Bright was a loving and thoughtful caregiver for Bailey. This is the first time Bailey has stayed over with someone that was not family. At first she was hesitant but she fell in love with Bright during her stay and was so well cared for. Highly recommended!”

“Stephanie provides a loving and caring home. Communication is outstanding and cared for my dog qs if it was her own. Will be booking with Stephanie for future trips”
