“Sarah and her girls took amazing care of Archie while we were in Mexico for a week. She was responsive and communicated well, sending pictures and updates throughout our trip so we had peace of mind knowing he was having a great time and being treated as part of her family. Archie requires medication which was administered appropriately, and he ate well throughout his stay. He also loved taking walks along the trails near her home. Thank you again for everything!”

“Shorty had a wonderful day with Jesse, Natalie and Lucy. They have a great fenced in yard for the pups to sniff and play (Shorty and Lucy are still playing it cool but I think soon they will be romping buddies). About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life—I’ve had them since I was young and have spent the last 12 years caring for others’ pets as well. I recently lost my beloved French Bulldog, who required a lot of dedicated care, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease. Because I’m completing my Master’s degree from home, I have a flexible and adaptable schedule. This allows me to be available during the day for walks, feedings, and ongoing supervision, ensuring pets receive consistent, attentive care rather than being left alone for long periods. I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important routine and a calm environment are, so I do my best to keep things consistent with what they’re used to—whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or just how they like to relax. I’m very mindful about safety in the home and always make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I also keep communication open so you always know how your pet is doing. These things were so important to me with my own dog.

“Our dog stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful and quite a distance from the road, creating a perfect environment for pets. We received daily photos and updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. They also brushed our dog regularly. We’ll definitely book again the next time we’re out of town for an extended period”

“Heather really looked after my dogs. She sent pictures updating me with what they were up to. I felt relaxed while we were away and will use Heather again 🐾”

“Courtney was absolutely exceptional! Stella had a great time in her care! Her property is amazing! She had excellent communication; sent pictures while out on a walk, and kept me in the loop and reassured while we were away! She definitely went over and above to pamper, exercise and take great care of Stella! We would 100% book again and reccommend Courtney!”

“Rocky had an awesome stay for 10 days with Steve, Leah and the family. Our experience was excellent with Steve being very responsive during the setup stage and communicating regularly once Rocky was boarding. We were very happy with the care provided to Rocky”

“Laura was very friendly and easy to deal with. She sent some pictures showing Buddy playing with her dogs. She was flexible with the pick up time as we were running a bit late. Buddy came home happy and tired which is just how we like it😄”

About: Hi there, My name is Natalie and I live with my partner Jesse, our 12 year old pug Bernie and our 4 year old Terrier mix, Lucy. We are huge dog lovers and often spend our weekends going for long walks and volunteering for a local animal rescue. We would treat your pet like our own while they are in our care. Every day we make sure our two dogs are cared for and happy. Our joy and purpose comes from seeing them living their best lives. Safety and lost dog prevention always comes first. It is so important that a dog is secure and never given the opportunity to be in harms way.
About: Think of this as a boutique, in-home pet boarding retreat — not a kennel. With 30+ years of hands-on experience raising, hosting, and loving just about every creature imaginable — cats, dogs, fowl, rabbits, rodents, and even tortoises (yes, really) — your pet will be in wildly capable hands. Puppies who need gentle training? Seniors who need extra patience and TLC? Shy pets, quirky pets, “my pet is kind of weird” pets? I’ve met them all and adore them deeply. Our home is designed for calm, gentle pet care, nestled on a peaceful 100-acre forest property (freija.ca), which means plenty of fresh air, enrichment, and stress-free vibes. No kids, no chaos — just a quiet, loving environment where animals can actually relax. My husband and I both work from home, so your pet is never left wondering where the humans went. Someone is always around for companionship, playtime, belly rubs, or just existing together (a highly underrated skill). And then there’s Honey, our resident adventure cat and official Welcome Committee. He absolutely loves meeting visiting pets and brings big “friendly camp counsellor” energy to every introduction. If you’re looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family, understands animals on a deep level, and can handle everything from puppy zoomies to senior snoozes — you just found your place. 🐾💚 My husband and I both work from home, which means your pet gets constant supervision, companionship, and engagement — ideal for puppies needing routine, senior dogs who require extra care, and pets who don’t do well being left alone. There are no children in the home, just experienced adults who speak fluent “animal.” Our home is set up specifically for gentle, low-stress pet sitting, tucked away on a quiet 100-acre forest property (freija.ca). It’s perfect for dogs who love sniffing adventures, cats who enjoy calm observation posts, and pets who thrive in a peaceful environment. No crates by default, no overcrowding, and absolutely no chaos. If you’re looking for reliable, experienced, in-home pet boarding where your pet is treated like family (and maybe a little spoiled), you’ve found it. Your pet brings the personality — we’ve already got the love, patience, and forest vibes covered.
About: I’ve have had a dog my entire life, working with rescues and making them comfortable within my home. My currently dog Maxie is a rescue that came from a horrible background and wouldn’t even come to us the first day we met her. Now two years later she is the most snuggling loving girl. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time for your dog, I go on plenty of walks and will have more then enough time to spend with your dog I have a fenced in yard and live close to walking trails. Your dog will have 3 loving dogs to play with, and watched at all times
“We would definitely recommend Kate to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog. She is very kind and took such great care of our baby (pug). She sent us pictures and kept us updated.”
“Ashley was incredibly accommodating with an out-of-the-norm pick-up times and with a last minute booking. Her property has plenty of space for the dogs to play and my dog loved spending time with her pups. She was very communicative and stayed in touch over the weekend. Only downside - my pup came home smelling quite strongly of cigarette smoke. Other than that, would book again!”
