One is handing over the keys to the house to someone who’s last name, home address and place of employment is unknown and who has gone through only a rudimentary screening. Nevertheless, we trust Lois and would be happy to use her again.”

About: I am a zookeeper who cares for 25+ different species of animals, I am also a graduate of Seneca college veterinarian program where they have taught me everything I need to know about animal care and vet medicine. She looked after two of my dogs, a large “mastiff x american bulldog” and her tiny companion “chihuahua x min. pinscher” with no issues at all. For first timers, she likes to meet the pets in advance, which is fantastic (especially for dogs) and you’ll know from that first meeting you’ll be in good hands with no worry at all. Her and her husband were very flexible with the dogs routines, ensuring that their overall needs for comfort and mental health were met - because all dogs become a little stressed when they’re left by their owners for a week or two.
