About: I’ve cared for dogs most of my life having grew up around multiple dog breeds both male and female! My partner and I are the biggest dog lovers, with our own little girl and committed to providing the best care possible. About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. I have a fenced backyard and a park across the road with lots of walking trails around to accomodate all the needs or your furry friend. We do also have 1 friendly cat in the home.

“My cats are sensitive people cuddles and get lonely when left alone. Angela was amazing with them, and they warmed up to her instantly. She attended to their idiosyncrasies such as regular 4 times a day feeding and dish placement to prevent food theft and bullying and more. When I returned home, my cats were calm and content. Besides the beautiful daily photos and updates Angela sent while I was away for a week, I knew Juno and Luna had been well cared for just by their demeanour which was markedly different from when they have gone to boarding facilities. Having a home stay like Angela is the way we will go from now on. In this regard, Angela was so incredibly gracious. I have been in the midst of renovating and decluttering my home as I reclaimed it from my grown children, and Angela urged me not to worry about it. About: I’ve had cats in my home all of my life, but have had my own cat for 3.5 years now. My cat is part bengal, so naturally he is very energetic and smart. I’ve taught him to sit, high five, lay down, and fetch. I’ve given him both oral and topical (such as eye drops) medications successfully, and have always followed veterinary instructions closely. I clean his litter boxes daily, as he is quite particular. Furthermore, I’ve done a lot of research about cats in order to give him the best life possible. He has a water fountain away from his food because cats prefer running water, he is fed a special urinary care dry food because of past issues, and he is also fed wet food because moisture is of utmost importance for cats and their kidneys - especially male cats. I never keep flowers or toxic plants in my house for his safety, and I take him outside on a leash so that he is able to get the stimulation he needs with less risk. I’m a very particular cat owner, and would understand and respect any other cat owners preferences, just as I’d hope someone would do the same for me.
About: I’ve had cats in the home since I was just a baby. By age 8 I completely took care of all cat related tasks in my home including; brushing, feeding, hydrating, some training, kitty litter. She coaxed both out of their shells, kept me updated, and followed the instructions we discussed/I left perfectly. More importantly to me, Danika is an incredibly kind and compassionate person to the human of the house, too. I struggle with some things and contacted her ahead of time to ask if she was okay with the situation my place was in, and she was nothing but understanding and reassuring. Being a recovering hoarder (never of animals!) is a hard climb with a tremendous amount of shame involved, especially when people have to enter my home and I can hear their reactions. Danika lifted that shame from my shoulders in her honest and compassionate statements that it was absolutely okay, and my cats deserve all the love no matter what the state of my kitchen or living room is. I have been on rover for a couple of years now and I have had all different kind of experiences through the app. I have had many different dog walking clients from puppies to senior dogs. I have done house sittings anywhere from 1 night to 5 week long stays, I’ve even just dropped in for a few hours to keep your animals company and take them on walks. I have looked after all kinds of dogs and cats and even chickens. I am so passionate about animals and making sure your animals are comfortable and happy during your time away! I just recently got 2 puppies so I have been training them and looking after them so I have recent experience with puppies as well. About: I have taken care of animals and had the tasks of walking or pet sitting in the home for the past couple years. I am comfortable with pets of all breeds and sizes and feel my skills that I have from owning pets myself will better allow me to watch your own pets. Throughout my time watching pets I have had a variety of aged pets and choose to adapt to their comfort level, such as playing fetch and walking on more challenging terrain with a younger dog, and finding a flatter and less busy trail/path for a senior dog. I am currently a University student here in Ottawa and the flexibility of dog walking in my schedule would be perfect! We now have a 2 year old English lab. My absolute dream would be to open a dog sanctuary and let all the dogs live their best life. I’m currently on maternity leave so my days are pretty open. I would need to bring my 1 yr old with me for walks as my husband works during the day so if your dog is ok with strollers perfect if not I can put my son in the carrier. As far as safety, I have a fenced yard in my apartment and will never let a pet off-leash especially if your pet does not have any recall. I enjoy practicing training with pets also and have successfully conditioned some to learn commands. I offer grooming services as well at no extra cost, except showers/baths. Your pet is in safe hands and you will have nothing to worry about while they are in my care. I will make sure of that.

About: I have enjoyed taking care of dogs and other pets from a young age. I like getting to know the unique qualities of each animal and enjoy providing an enriching environment full of activities for the active dog, or a quiet, calm space for the pets who take more time to settle in. Caring for, and socializing, puppies over a summer was one of the most memorable pet care times, as a family member was preparing to find homes for a litter. I'm currently off work for the summer and have lots of flexibility to care for your pets for overnight stays, walks, or drop in visits to your home. Cletus and Betty are American Bulldogs Chester is a French / English Bulldog mix . Puppies Sr dogs house training and administering medication are all things I have experience in . I am retired so my schedule is flexible according to your pets needs. I am on the property with the dogs all of the time . I live on 2 acres in the country surrounded by farms . I have a huge fenced in run with a custom built shelter for the dogs . I also live minute from trails to take the dogs on safe walks free from any traffic.
About: From a very young age, I have always had a love of animals whether they had four legs or scales. Growing up I rode horses, had 2 dogs, and at points also had guinea pigs, bearded dragons, fish, and bunnies. However, my best buddy growing up was my Australian Shepherd, Shiloh. Shiloh was ultimately the reason growing up I found a passion for the outdoors and hiking. Spending as much time as possible either on walks around the neighbourhood, hiking through local trails, camping, cottaging, swimming, or at the dog park with my best buddy.
