I bring 15+ years of hands-on animal-care experience, including working in two veterinary clinics and teaching canine and equine first aid. About: I grew up with cats and have had cats for most of my life, giving me many years of hands-on experience with their care and individual personalities. I am comfortable with feeding, fresh water, litter care, playtime and companionship, and following each owner's routine and instructions. My veterinary clinic experience and first-aid training also help me recognize when a cat may need extra attention.

My partner arrived back home first, and he said our cat was disgruntled that we had left but that it was clear that all of his immediate needs had been met. He arrived home before I had a chance to let her know, and he said she came in with a cat greeting so enthusiastic and loving that he thought I’d come home early. About: Love dogs but could not own one due to work/life circumstances. Have experience sitting and walking smaller high energy dogs such as Daschund and Jack Russels.I have owned and cared for pets for many years of all ages and was fortunate to have a pet that lived to the age of 26.I have pet sat for friends in their home and on occasion in my home in the past. As an owner of a cat with thyroid disease daily specialized care and dietary monitoring is a significant part of my routine to maintain good health.I recently had to say goodbye to my senior cat of 26 years.She was a rescue cat with a unique personality. In her latter years she suffered pancreatitis on several.occasions .She was very strong and resilient which gave her longevity. I am a retired nurse of 40 years who continues to work casual shifts in health care.I can set my work hours and organize my life more freely. I can be accommodating to meet the needs of those in my care . Can walk dogs,change litter,refill food and water and administer medication. As a result of my previous experiences with health related issues in my pets I am more in tune with changes in behavior and health.
