Personalized care for your dog or cat - Sussex

“8 Stars out of 5 !! My partner and I have had our little Westie for a year and half and never had to leave him anywhere overnight before. Needless to say that when the day, or should I say night, came we were more than a little apprehensive. We looked within our friends’ circle first hoping to find a home that would not be strange to our dog but no opportunity manifested. We then found the Rover app and after reading MANY reviews, we came upon Linus’ Pawradise. After an initial meet and greet, we felt that all the amazingly positive reviews were most likely all sincere. Linus is a warm, caring man whose love and empathy for dogs shone through. Beyond that, he takes his role very seriously. He has created a safe environment where dogs can feel secure and have plenty of play time. He’s very knowledgeable and asks all the right questions to enable him to provide the best service possible. While we were away we received regular updates which was very reassuring to us. What a wonderful experience. We will not hesitate to avail ourselves of his services again. As a side not for those who may live a bit further away, we live 40 minutes away by car from Linus’ Pawradise and we can tell you it is worth the extra mile! Linus has a wonderful, safe , and secure environment in the countryside that your dog will adore! Thank you Linus for taking good care of our little one! (and easing our separation anxieties! Lol).”

“Zakia is amazing! She took care of my cat, Anova, for 20 days while I was traveling abroad, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Zakia was attentive, loving, and followed all my care instructions, including Anova’s feeding routine and other needs. They bonded really well! Although anova took some time to get used to the change, she felt right at home, which gave me so much peace of mind. Zakia was also responsive and accommodating, even when I had difficulties communicating from overseas. Her regular updates (with photos) reassured me that Anova was happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Zakia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving cat sitter. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning to her the next time I travel. Thank you, Zakia, for treating Anova like family!”

About: Hi! I have been brought up with animals in my family home since I was born. Being around dogs/cats/horses/hamsters and more. After relocating to Canada due to a work placement via my partner, and living in rented accommodation where we can't have our own pets, I felt this was a great way to help the community and cure my cravings for some time with animals! After recently moving to Rothesay giving up my recent job in pet Valu. I felt it would be good to venture out and start this journey while still with animals as I love dogs. Unfortunately this is not a service I can offer at this time. This may be a service that will become available in due time. Thanks for your understanding.

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 4, first animal being a yellow canary named Sunshine. Since then I’ve never lived without pets. I have the most experience with cats, but have owned dogs, fish, hamsters and lizards. Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I have time to provide the best care for your animals when life gets in the way. I will be available on a daily, weekly or occasional basis. I will treat all animals with the care and comfort I provide my own. I have an 4X4 and love taking adventures which provides lots of room for companions to accompany me on hikes.

About: Hi, I’m Zakia, an undergraduate student at Dalhousie University ! I’m a passionate animal lover based in Moncton, living in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with my partner — who’s just as obsessed with animals as I am. Together, we love creating a safe, loving, and playful environment for any furry guest that comes through our door. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities — from gentle giants like Rottweilers to tiny, sassy Shih Tzus and energetic puppies. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m always happy to adjust to their unique needs, routines, and quirks. Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, or just curling up for a cuddle, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and at home. What I Offer: • Cozy, pet-friendly 2-bedroom apartment for boarding or daycare • Experienced with all sizes & breeds: from large dogs to tiny pups • Patient, loving care for shy, anxious, or high-energy pets • Daily photo/video updates so you’re always in the loop • Long walks, playtime, or chill company — whatever your pet prefers • Two animal lovers = double the attention and snuggles! As my university is closed for the summer, I am 24/7 free to take care of your beloved pets. I can easily make a commute in Halifax. I have a safe environment and a big space in my apartment to take care of your pets . All my housemates are pet friendly and they also love pets.
