“We traveled from the states and I chose to have my dog stay near us since the drive would have added days to his time away from us. I'm so glad we did. My dog is very high energy and always wants attention or at least to be near someone. Since my husband and I work from home, he gets that attention. But when we go away it is always a concern about how he will handle not being with us. Tinghui was not concerned and had no issues with my dog. As a bonus, her dog kept my dog company as well. Perhaps the thought of competition for food helped inspire my dog to eat his food when it was provided making eating a non-issue when it was originally a major concern of mine. When we picked my dog up he kept running back inside to his new friend as though we were all there to play. Mont Tremblant is beautiful and we hope to return. If we are able to visit again, I would not hesitate to leave my dog with Tinghui.”

“Mylene was absolutely fantastic! I booked a last-minute hike, and she seamlessly cared for my dog, Juan, for the exact time frames I needed. She was incredibly responsive, easy to coordinate with, and made the whole process stress-free. I can’t recommend Mylene highly enough—she’s a true gem!”

“we had an amazing experience with Andrée - from the moment we booked, communication was quick, friendly, and reassuring. They took the time to understand our dog’s routine (a reactive miniature Australian Shepherd) quirks, and preferences, which immediately put me at ease. During the stay, I received regular updates, photos, and messages that showed just how well‑cared‑for and happy my pup was. It was clear that Andrée treated them like family. When I picked my dog up, they were relaxed, content, and clearly had a great time. The home environment was clean, safe, and welcoming, and I really appreciated their attention to detail—from sticking to feeding schedules to giving lots of playtime and affection. I would 100% book with Andrée again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my fur baby!”

“Daniela kept my 2 Frenchies on 2 occasions so far and we couldn’t be more pleased! One of them has special needs and we feel that Daniela truly cared about taking the absolute best care for him. When we mention her dog’s name, they now get excited and wait by the door- that’s always a good sign. Thank you Daniela 🩵”

“Melissa was very accommodating with our last minute booking when our Airbnb in the region changed their pet policy. Daisy had a great time playing with Cooper her dog and had a wonderful time while being well cared for! Thanks Melissa”

“Pidi and Anske were in doggy paradise when staying at Martha's beautiful house in the Laurentian mountains - they enjoyed the sunny house, large yard, network of property trails and bonding with this lovely couple. My little rascals were treated like royalties and quickly took a liking to Martha and her husband. I'm sure they would love another visit if we make our way back to Mont Tremblant and maybe I'll also stay with them to enjoy the sunny house, trails and Martha and her husband company who are quite pleasant and easy to deal with!”

“Sylvie was the ultimate care giver for our pup! He went for long walks with her and her dog in nature. Sylvie stayed in touch and provided us with pictures and texts of Sunny and how he’s doing. We highly recommend her!”

“Loretta was so kind and easy to deal with. Attentive and responsive. Our pup is a higher maintenance “pandemic dog” and Loretta was able to understand her needs and accommodate. We are so appreciative of her intuitive skills and experience. An amazing experience.”

“Edna is a high-flying dog sitter! Her communication is excellent, providing peace of mind. Our dog couldn't be in safer hands, as Edna genuinely loves dogs. Plus, she ensures great outdoor time, making it a delightful experience for our pup. Highly recommended!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
