We are very happy with the care Sarah provided while house sitting and for our two dogs (5 year old Labrador mix and 4 month old Border Collie mix) and two cats on short notice. Both of our dogs got their walks and meals each day. She was able to entertain our high energy puppy and keep the house neat and tidy. Sarah was reliable and trustworthy, making our experience worry free!

About: Bonjour !

About: From a young age, I've always loved being around pets, so caring for others' pets comes naturally to me. I adore animals, but unfortunately, I'm not able to have any of my own where I currently live. Pets are naturally drawn to me and feel safe in my care, and their owners are consistently pleased when they return home after I've looked after their beloved companions. I make sure to leave every home as clean and tidy as it was when I arrived, often going the extra mile to wash any bed linens and towels I've used. My clients greatly appreciate not having to worry about these details when they return from their travels. I'm also very discreet, respecting the privacy of the people, pets, and homes I care for, and I never share any private information about my clients. Thank you for the opportunity to share my love for animals and get my fill of puppy and kitty affection! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to spend most of the day taking care of your furry friends in your home. When I stay in your home to care for your cherished furry friends, their safety is always my top priority. I have a spotless track record from all my previous stays, and I intend to maintain it.

About: For over 40 years I have given a home to 18 adopted dogs, from large to small they have all been a delight. I am currently living with 2 golden doodles (1.5 and 7 yrs) and have experience over these many years with most breeds at all ages. I am a retired entrepreneur, I love to walk and enjoy canine company as I do. It is important for me to keep active and involved in my community and I am physically very fit. We live on a 30 acre country property and are surrounded by forest trails and beautiful mountain views. As the guardian of 18 dogs over many years I understand the importance of a safe, healthy environment for my canine friends, good nutrition, exercise and play time and with the support of our veterinarian have managed many different conditions and ailments.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

There are 84 sitters on Rover for Dog Walking in Bromont. About 82% of Bromont sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in Bromont. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighbourhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

Tip: Keep in mind that many cities in Canada require your dog walker to have a permit or licence for group walks.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance travelled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Bromont.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits, dog walking, and doggy day care. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find walkers in Bromont with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bromont choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
