She keep me informed every day and send me pictures! It is great to know I have found a pet sitter I can trust and won’t hasatate to hire Ashley again!

Ashley was amazing! She was willing and able to watch our dog, despite only having a 3 day notice. She was even willing to come over prior to booking to be sure she would be a good fit. She provided updates and photos after each visit, and was excellent about communicating any concerns. She was patient with our demanding dog and spent extra time with her until she was more comfortable with a stranger in our house. I would recommend Ashley to anyone looking for pet care and would definitely book her again.

Ashley was PERFECT! Her home is very animal friendly and I loved how her husband loved on Mae just as much as she did! Ashley made my first time using rover 10000% worth it and is the reason I am continuing to using this app. I enjoyed communicating with Ashley throughout the day to check on my dog. Ashley made me feel very comfortable by providing me with pictures and videos and updates throughout the day. I will ONLY use Ashley again going forward!

Ashley has been very attentive and very loving and patient with Piper, our energetic 4 month old puppy. She has given her attention, exercise, and love as she heals from being spayed. Piper loves to sit on her lap and give kisses to Ashley and her young children. Ashley takes pics and provides feedback throughout the day. She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and has provided us with useful information and suggestions! Thank you, Ashley. You are a Godsend! Piper has enjoyed her days with your family!! Xoxo

Ashley took such great care of my fur baby while I was out of town! So glad I didn't have to leave my pet at a boarding; she had one on one time with a family and was well taken care of!

Ashley goes above and beyond to care for your pet. My cat can be very skiddish but she managed to get photos and make her comfortable. Her qhole family participates in loving your pet and making them feel at home.

I will start by saying that this review should not be as long as it is going to be as my sweet Koda was only in the care of Ashley for 1 hour. On January 3, 2020 I had an arrangement with Ashley to drop my 4 month old puppy off between 9-10am and pick up on Sunday (1/5/20) between 7-8pm. Through previous conversations and according to her profile there is 1 cat present at the home. I arrived at Ashley's home at 9:30am and knocked on her door. There was no answer. I waited for a few moments before returning to my car and sending her a message to see if I had the correct address. She did not answer, so I called. Still no answer. I decided to go back to the door as I saw a Rover sign in the yard with her name on it. A man answered and I asked for Ashley. He stated that it was Ashley's home but he would take Koda as she was sleeping. He stated his name was Cody. I was hesitant to leave my Koda with him, but based on the evidence that this was her residence I did. I informed him with feeding instructions and kissed my sweet puppy good-bye. When I arrived home at 10:05am, I sent Ashley a message saying "I dropped Koda off but could you please let me know when you get up and see him? I just felt a little uncomfortable leaving him without seeing you. Thank you" She responded at 10:16am stating "he is doing great! I am so sorry I slept through my alarm". I said thank you and she apologized again. At 10:56am she sent me a message stating "Hey I have some bad news. Koda has a seizure just a minute ago. I think you should come get him and take him to the vet." I immediately called her and she answered and said that he was more alert now but when asked what happened she passed the phone to Cody, the man that I dropped him off to. He said that Koda was in his lap and he nipped another dog causing the other dog to nip back. He was reprimanding the other dog and Koda ran off and began to have a seizure. He said he never had a dog have a seizure but they called the vet and the they said that dogs become lethargic after...to which Ashley then stated that she has a daughter that has seizures that does the same thing. They said his eye was red as well. They offered to continue to monitor him but we assured we would be there within 20 minutes to get him, we arrived in 12 minutes. When we arrived, my husband went to the door where he was greeted by Cody, NOT ASHLEY. He saw a dog that looked to be a pug. Cody walked to the car with my husband and when I saw my Koda in his crate he looked pitiful. He was timid, shaking, and not as responsive as the sweet energized puppy I dropped off 1 hour prior. Cody then stated that Koda was in another room with other dogs and nipping started between them and Koda ran out and had a seizure and pooped. During this conversation he also said something about a Shepard and another dog that were there as well as the pug-looking dog my husband saw. Cody then stated that he gave Koda a bath. Not sure why this was the concern. Koda's eyes were swollen and red and his mouth was swollen and red. I knew immediately that something far worse happened than just a seizure. I asked Cody if he was attacked. Cody said he didnt know. We rushed Koda to our vet where he was examined and unfortunately we will never know what truly happened. His eyes are caused from some sort of trauma which could be related to asphyxiation or a scratch to the eye and his mouth being red and raw is explainable. He is also soar and tender on his under body. We were given antibiotic drops for his eyes as well as an anit-inflammatory medication for the swelling on his face. Since leaving Ashley's home on Friday, my poor puppy is not the same dog that I left him as. He just lays around and keep keep his eyes closed because of the pain. There are so many disturbing things about this situation! For one, the fact that I never even saw Ashley is so unprofessional and makes me irate. She promised she would take care of my baby as if it were her own. BULL CRAP! I would not trust her with a rock. Why would she not have come out when we went to pick him up and seem concerned. She obviously did not care. There are so many other thoughts that I have about her that I do not even know how to express. And then there is Cody, the man that I feel knows what really happened to my baby. AND...again I was not told about any other animals that would be present in the home other than her cat. Koda will be going back to the vet for a recheck tomorrow, however 2 vets have now confirmed that his symptoms (eyes, mouth, soar under-body) are not a result of a seizure. If a seizure did happen it was a result of terror, not glucose levels or neurological. I am so sad that this was the first and only experience that our family has had with Rover. I have contacted Rover and am demanding that this profile be taken down. I would hate for another family to have to endure the traumatic experience that we have had thus far.
