Only The Best For Your Fur Baby!
Pet care experience
Hi fellow dog parents, May I be the dog sitter you are looking for? As a former dog trainer I have the ability to offer excellent care for your dog/dogs when you are in need of some extra help. After a few years away and due to some work changes I am now able to be back here on Rover and am very excited to meet you and your dog/dogs. I now have my own dog who is a 2 year old male Tamaskan named Neo. He is a high energy dog so we do at least 2 longer physical activities every day. Long walk or hike in the early mornings and either another hike / the beach / running / doggy playdates in the afternoons. We also do two smaller potty break walks everyday so total we go out 4 times a day. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with a balcony where the dogs can look out from. Living in an apartment is not an issue as I activate the dogs so much that they mostly sleep inside. If your dog is under my care I want you to know that I focus a lot on fulfilling the dogs natural needs so we train, exercise, and have fun together every day. Anything to offer the Best for Your Dog! I also use positive reinforcement and believe that it is better to make the dogs listen by being a confident leader and having fun together instead of giving harsh punishments…. And also, if you have any specific requirements and/or your dog has any special needs I am more than happy to comply with those. I have worked with dogs for over 15 years and it is very important that you feel 1,000% comfortable leaving your dog with me, knowing that he/she is in great hands. I can offer references to call as well if needed. Short background story and Why I love dog sitting? I got my first dog when I was 11 years old (Mix of German Shepherd / Siberian Husky / Alaskan Malamute), I worked with her a lot and she became one of the best behaved dogs in the neighborhood. I went to school to learn more about dogs, and became a Veterinary Assistant, and then took extra classes in dogs natural behavior and communication process. I started helping out friends with their dogs, and then ended up working every summer taking care of peoples dogs when they went on vacation; but then when the dogs didn't want to go back home I realized my true gift and started with dog training and coaching - to help owners train their dogs right and create the best relationship possible. Now my passion lays more in spending time with dogs out in nature and being active with them.
Reviews
Sandra is the best! My dog, Beau has loved his time with Sandra and her dog, Neo. He pulls to get to her front door!! Her and Neo are super active and go on lots of adventures and have brought Beau with :) she made sure I was 100% comfortable leaving Beau with her and in her home. I know Beau is in good hands when I leave him with her, and know he is having a good time. Looking forward to continuing to work with Sandra.
Sandra is a wonderful dogsitter! She sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the day, so I knew my pup was having fun, and Sandra was very accommodating with my schedule and easy to coordinate with.
Sandra was kind and warm, and was professional and flexible when it came to planning/coordinating. She connected very nicely with my dog, and was very patient with her.
Definitely Recommend!

My apartment is very pet friendly and the dogs will never be alone. We are staying active 2 times a day no matter if we stay at my place or yours, and we do 2 smaller potty break walks. The dogs obviously got unlimited access to water, and a big box with toys and chew bones. Also, they are allowed to be anywhere in the apartment, sofa and bed included.

Information Sandra E. would like to know about your pet
- What kind of dog is it? - Age/Gender? - Any physical problems or allergies? - Any behavioral issues? I have no breed preference, I work with all dogs.
A typical day
In the early morning we will go on a hike at either Murphy Ranch Trail, Will Rogers State Park, Rivas Canyon, Westridge Trail, Malibu etc. Then around 1pm we do a potty break and just walk around the block. At 5pm ish we either go on another hike, the beach or a long walk around Brentwood country club or around in the neighborhood. Evening small potty break around the block around 8-9pm. We might some days even take longer field trips for other fun hiking trails.
