Pet care experience
Hello! My name is a Richie. I moved into wake forest after hiking for 5 months on the Appalachian Trail. Although my time here is limited as I’m moving out at the end of May 2024!! Before my hike, I lived in Durango Colorado where I made Rover my full-time job, taking care of dogs from sun up to sun down. I’ve had pets throughout my entire childhood and into my adult years, taking care of turtles and hamster, dogs and cats, lizards and fish. I can take care of them all! Needless to say I like having pets around, especially dogs.

Richie took care of our 4 big dogs, which is a lot of responsibility. He did a great job and continued to keep us informed the entire time. He you are looking for someone that is responsible and does a great job with your dogs, hire Richie.
Ritchie was great with my 2 shepherds. Sent multiple daily updates. The house was in great shape when we got home after a week away. He watered plants (volunteered for this), brought in mail, washed sheets, etc. Awesome! And, most importantly, my dogs were very well taken care of and happy. Thank you Ritchie!!! Lauren and Ryan

Before I get to take care of your pet, I’d like to know anything that would distract us from our walks. For example: My dog LOVES bikes/skateboards, he will, without a doubt, try and chase after them if they pass by on our walk. I’ll make sure every body is having a good time!
A typical day
I always enjoy a hike, and usually prefer company. As we get into the winter season and snow starts to fall, I’d love to take your dog on a walk to experience the fun in the snow. I typically won’t take the same route twice in a row. It’s not only for my personal preference, but so your dog is always getting a fresh experience with new scents and activities along the way.

First come first served! My schedule is open for any booking needs. Would be happy to do a meet and greet before our adventures begin. I’m looking into Veterinarian school and I feel like this is a great way to get to know as many types and personalities of dogs as possible.
