Description:

I offer various specials depending on the length of your stay, the needs of your dog and the time of the year. I also offer discounts for multiple dogs. Feel free to ask about my current specials when sending me an inquiry. I offer pick up and drop off of your pet. I have an extensive knowledge of how to care for all different kinds of dogs, including those with special needs. My care includes daily trips to the dog park, walks twice per day, baths (if needed) and, of course, a lot of love! I have a three bedroom home with a fenced in backyard, so your dog(s) always have access to the outdoors. I will follow your expected care to the letter and be sure that your dog is comfortable and happy the entire time we are with them! I am a true dog lover who puts the pets best interest first. Since I understand homesickness, I am willing to sit in my home or in yours.

About Nicole B.:

I offer sitting in my home but, because I understand that some pets get homesick, I also offer sitting in their home, so that they are as comfortable as possible! I am fun, active and trustworthy. I am a true dog lover and treat my own dogs as if they were my children. I treat any other dog in my care the same way! I have always had a passion for animals and had their best interests at heart. I go to a dog park at least once a day. I love to take my dogs to visit the staff at our local Petsmart and Petco (who know them by name, haha.) Our house is filled with a variety of toys, treats and other dog stuff! I would love the chance to make your dog(s) part of the family for the period that they stay with me!

How long have you been a dog lover? Tell us about your history with dogs.

I have loved dogs since I was a child. As a dog sitter, I am able to experience so many different breeds and personalities. It's so much fun to play with and care for various breeds, and the feeling of knowing that I have made the dog as well as the owner comfortable and happy. I have dealt with dogs of all sizes and various breeds. I have cared for disabled/special needs dogs, including a dog with only 3 legs, a dog who was paralyzed, and a dog who was blind AND paralyzed.

What would you like to know about a dog before sitting him or her? Do you have any breed preferences?

I would like to know any special care instructions, the dog's personality, and any preferences that the dog has related to attention, play, walk time, sleeping habits. The better I know your dog, the better I can care for it! I have no breed preferences, I love dogs of all types.

Do you have reliable transportation in the event of an emergency?

Yes.

Are you comfortable administering medication?

Yes. I have plenty of experience medicating dogs.

How much time do you plan on spending with my dog each day?

As much time as possible! Unless I have a specific reason to need to leave the dog alone, I would be with them at all times. I try to involve my dogs in as much of my life as I can. Generally, there is always someone home. I live with my boyfriend and our schedules work around each other very well.

If you have a backyard, please describe it.

I have a large, fenced in yard. There is a sliding glass door that opens to a large deck that has stairs down into the yard.

Where will my dog sleep?

Unless your dog has a specific place you'd prefer for your dog to sleep, he/she will sleep on the bed cuddled up with me! We also have a large sectional couch, a guest bed and various dog beds. Bringing your dogs bed from home (if they have one) does tend to help them feel more comfortable- even if they don't use it!

Where will you take my dog on walks? Tell me about it.

We go to various dog parks at least once per day, weather permitting. One is in the Everett area that is filled with trails. It is a forest setting with plenty of trees, and a lot of room to run. We also go on a morning and evening walk that is roughly 2 miles each time. This walk will take place in and around my neighborhood. Depending on the exercise needs of the dog, we walk Greenlake as often as we see fit.

Nikko

Age: 3 years, 3 mo. old
Weight: 16 lbs.
Breed: Dachshund & Papillon

Nikko is a little prince! He is definitely spoiled rotten with the number of toys that he has, but he is still well trained. He is crate-trained but does not like to sleep in it. He is the sweetest little boy who just wants to snuggle up next to you.

Chase

Age: 5 years, 4 mo. old
Weight: 57 lbs.
Breed: Beagle & Rottweiler

Chase is just the sweetest girl. She loves most people but she was abused before we adopted her so she can be timid at times.

Nicole came right in with confidence! We have three boxers who fell right away for her friendly and calm nature...we received many texts and pictures from her while we were away which was very comforting...best feeling of all was that I felt like she enjoyed my dogs like they were her own! Thanks Nicole.

We needed accommodations for beau fairly last minute. Nicole responded right away that she was available and willing to take Beau. I really liked how she took the time to introduce her dogs to Beau one at a time as not not overwhelm any of them. She has a great backyard and also took the dogs to a really nice dog park. It was really comforting to get photos of our dog, which she sent almost daily! All in all we love Nicole and more importantly so does Beau! Absolutely will have her dogsit for us again! (Collapse)
Trinity had a great stay. Nicole took her to the beach which she loves. I would recommend Nicole to take care of your pet.

We had a great experience with Nicole. Ninja got sick while we were gone and she kept us up to date with what was going on and then took him to see the vet when we got worried. I would for sure leave Ninja with her again in the future. Great job!

Nicole and her boyfriend were doggy sitters for my dear little mini-dachshunds for 6 days. My dogs are both high needs dogs. One is blind and both are paralyzed from the "waist" down. Nicole was eager and compassionate for my dogs special needs. She went way above the call of duty to accommodate them. The dogs were returned to me in healthy and happy condition. I highly recommend Nicole. The only negative comment I would have is that Nicole lives in a 3rd floor apartment. Space is very limited. I would definitely hire Nicole again. (Collapse)

Thank you much for taking care of my little lady! I can tell she had a great time from the pictures you sent. She looked happy as all get out! The way you interacted with your dogs and the adding Lilly to the mixed made me feel confident to leave her with you! Thanks for being awesome and caring for her and even giving her a bath..YOU ROCK!!! Play dates would be awesome too!

Nicole and her boyfriend took amazing care of my baby Yoshi. I'm a huge worrier, but Nicole kept in touch with pictures and reassurances that Yoshi was having a good time, and I could tell from the pictures. I felt entirely comfortable leaving Yoshi with them and she came back happy and relaxed and totally in love with both of them. I'm convinced she would have loved to stay with them longer. I will definitely be booking Nicole whenever I can in the future. I don't believe that any kennel/boarding facility could have given Yoshi the attention I think that she needs and I am so pleased with this experience. Five stars. (Collapse)
