Pet care experience
I have been a dog-lover since childhood and currently have a two year old rescue of my own! My background in neuroscience has made me a keen observer of behaviors, which has made training my own dog much easier. I am happy to work with dogs of all types (mine is a high fear/anxiety pup of about 2 years and I love him to death), but especially with dogs that are cheerful, playful, and energetic and I have the energy to keep up with them all! I welcome any and all input when it comes to working with your pet/pets, keeping in mind my main goal of making them feel happy and secure while in my care! It is my guarantee that your pet will be treated like one of my own, whenever in my care as well!

As always, came home to happy puppins after having to leave them behind for the weekend. Nathan is responsive and has great attention to detail. He sends lots of pictures and detailed notes of his visits. This is so appreciated. If we can’t be home with them, we’re so happy that they’re being looked after by someone who understands how important they are to us and who clearly cares about the pets he’s been entrusted to care for. I am living in a two bedroom apartment with my significant other and dog of about 2 years of age. Our complex has the largest dog park in South Austin so there is ample room for them to play and be taken on walks in/around the Sunset Valley neighborhood. If socialization is desired with your animal I would slowly introduce them to other dogs to ensure full comfortability before fully trusting them to play with others. If watching dogs in a clients home, I would make sure to take extreme care to watch over the animals and ensure they were not getting into any mischief, but also take advantage of the fact that they are in the comfort of their own home to get to know them a little better and make sure to share any insights I might learn with the animals owner(s).

Availability
As someone who works from home, much of my daily routine is centered around pet care. As most dogs do, mine has somewhat of a schedule and typically things are done around the same time each day, but I am sure to pay attention to him to see if any unexpected trips outside are needed. Whenever it may be, I can assure you that your pets happiness and health are a top priority to me and they will be in good hands!
