Pet care experience
My family has fostered dogs for 6 yrs and I have volunteered at the animal shelter here for 2 years . I am an avid runner, so I will be able to exercise and keep up with any energetic dog. We have always had small dogs, but I helped train and maintain larger breeds on my grandfather's farm for 3 years, as well as at the shelter.

I have plenty of space in my apartment and I don’t have carpet, which allows me to keep any animals that may need extra accommodations. When I go back home during the breaks (summer, winter, & spring), I dog sit for my neighbors in-house & overnight. In 2019, I stayed in a client’s home for two months while caring for Chevy the Australian shepherd. I have experience giving daily medications, bathing/grooming, and maintaining a healthy diet/exercise for the dogs I care for.

A typical day
I love to run in and around my neighborhood. My favorite places to frequent are the Arboretum and the Murray State University campus. I also enjoy playing different games (tug of war, fetch, etc) during my study breaks.

Availability
I’m a college student and I work part-time. I’m only taking two classes in-person, which gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of one-on-one time with your fur baby.
