I am a former vet tech and have had and cares for all sorts of animals including cats, dogs, rats, amphibians, and reptiles. I am capable of administering all aspects of pet care. On Rover, I specialize in cats, especially elderly, medically complex, and nervous ones.

Kelly was great taking care of our two cats while we were out of town. They both get pretty stressed when we leave and she helped us with a plan to minimize that, spending more individualized time with each of them, playing soft music, etc. One cat has more medical needs and Kelly was very helpful and attentive in monitoring how she was reacting to our being away and letting us know of a few concerns.
Kelly was amazing again and so happy she was available. My shyest cat came out for her everyday. Love her and thanks for your great work and for being a wonderful person as well.

I specialize in cats! My first task after greeting the king or queen of the house is to clean the litter box, meds, and take care of food and water, then my time is all your cat's! Depending on the cat I may try to play with their favorite toy, treats, pet them, cuddle them, read to them, bring over an iPad with bird videos or a cat game on it or just be where they can see me so we develop trust. Nothing feels better than when a shy cat lets you love on them! Unless I am told otherwise or my presence is upsetting your cat, I always stay the full time you have booked even if it's just to let them know that someone is there for them. I also strive to visit at about the same time every day of the sitting to give the cats some structure and routine.
