My Name is Kate :) I have been an animal lover all of my life and vegan for 4 years. I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and love learning and caring for all animals. I've volunteered at humane society in the past and looking to volunteer with marine animal rehabilitation in the future.

Katie has dog sat my dogs several times and I would recommend her to anyone! She is very active and able to walk and play with the dogs as needed. She's also very patient and can watch even the youngest of pups :) She's definitely my go-to dog sitter!!
Katie is the Cesar Milan of Silverlake! Whenever I head out of town I feel like my 60lb. black lab is more excited to see Katie than she is sad to see me leave. She is loving, a great caretaker, and I have full trust in her to take care of my pup any day of the year!
Katie is great with our two dogs. We have a 1.5-year-old 60lbs pit/german shepherd mix and a 12-year-old 20lbs Westie that love her! She's perfectly poised to handle the endless energy of our puppy and is always gentle with our older Westie. She's reliable, friendly (with people and puppies alike), fun and caring. She's always our first choice!

I live by the beach and next to a park where large dogs play in the main area and small dog play in a quieter area by a lagoon. I have a back patio that looks out over the wetlands, where my dog and I relax in the morning.

A typical day
My beach bungalow apartment can accommodate small dogs. It is always tidy with hardwood floors and a balcony to look out. It's set next to the beach, a park, and the relaxing channel leading into the marina.

I currently work full-time in an office and I have a dog of my own named Loofa (Loo). So I am focusing more on looking for walkers and sitters on Rover at this time. If I have free days I would love to invite your dog for a play-date.
