Safety, trust & environment
I have worked with dogs all my life. As a youngster my family raised Chow Chows for the show ring. Later in life while a trauma nurse I continued with my love of dogs by working with Greyhound and Whippet rescues, retired racers, and AKC show dogs. Over the years I have worked with a number of rescue organizations fostering animals and finding them great loving homes. I currently split my volunteer time between two rescues in Tucson. We have extensive experience with all types of dogs. Whether your dog is shy and skittish or a little too friendly. Bring it on. Maybe your pet has had bad experiences in boarding kennels. Our goal is to make your dog feel at home and happy!

Information Jesse B. would like to know about your pet
I love dogs of all breeds. I will admit to a special weakness for Bulldogs (both Frenchies and English) as well as Cockers and Cockapoos. Of the larger breeds I'm a longtime fan of Greyhounds and German Shepherds as well as Rotties whom I find adorable. Before taking a dog I always like to know their personality quirks including how they get along with other dogs and how comfortable they are being separated from their owners. We specialize in shy dogs or dogs who are fearful of being left behind so we like to address those concerns upfront.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We generally do not walk dogs off our property for liability reasons unless specifically requested to do so. Otherwise, we have supervised play time in our fenced backyard. We can schedule trips to the local dog park on Sundays with a waiver. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he or she likes. We encourage our pet parents to bring along favorite beds as well as an old T-shirt or other item with their scent on it. This helps our guests feel more secure when separated from their family. For dogs that enjoy sleeping on the bed, we're more than happy to share! Time I'll spend with your dog We spend every minute possible making sure our guests are happy, pampered and having a great time! Even on week days there is someone home nearly 24 hours. Only on Mondays and Thursdays are dogs unattended for any period of time (usually one or two hours) because of employment and school schedules. On weekends and other days there is 24 hour coverage. Time I'll spend with your dog We do two visits per day (morning and evening) of 45 minutes to 1 hour each. That time includes feeding, changing water, and a walk or exercise. Extra house-sitting services We're happy to do those things if we are looking in on your dog in your home. We also are pleased to turn off and on interior and exterior lights for your security.

Reviews

Athena and cooper seemed to have a good time with Jesse. Jesse was very nice and we will be using him again when needed!

Jessie really took care of my dog and tired him out. I was very satisfied with the results.
Jessie is a caring and loving guy who loves life itself and the animals he cares for. I would trust him with all my babies. He has gone out of his way to help and rescue dogs that needed time to heal so that they can find their furever homes. Thank you Jessie for all you do to help, care for, and show all your love for them.
Jesse fostered for TCWN and did an amazing job. He showed he was a savvy dog owner and cared for our foster dogs when they were sick . Once they were well Jesse gave them a fantastic foster home till there forever home was found and they were adopted out.
