Pet care experience
Animal Experience: I grew up with two cats (Nikki and Abbie) and a 100-pound weimaraner dog (Sherman). Nikki lived to 20, Abbie to 19, and Sherman to 14, so I went through all of the stages of life with them all. A few years later my parents fostered a labradoodle, Bruno, who had high anxiety and a bite on record. I helped train Bruno over the years and his anxiety is nice and low, he enjoys neighborhood walks and is the sweetest pup around. Last year I adopted Juniper, a beautiful tabby cat, so I have familiarity with Tucson vet resources and more hands-on experience with kitties. Why become a Rover Sitter? I've always had cats and dogs in my life and absolutely love caring for them. With grad school I love having the opportunity to take walks, work in new spaces, and play with/care for new furry friends.
Reviews
She’s amazing and professional. My cat loves her. ♥️ We will definitely call her first the next time.
She's great with dogs and Elliot my dog was happy.
We appreciate the kindness and cuddles for our two pups! Emily made our dogs feel loved and safe. Plus, she sent pics, refilled their water and kept the house safe. A million thanks for the wonderful care.
Fantastic willingness to work with a very scared cat.

I love spending time with animals and greatly respect your home as just that, your home. I hope to make your fur baby as comfortable as possible while you're away. I love walks (and am comfortable with large dogs) and look forward to getting to know them!

Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any particular behaviors that I should be aware of! I'm open to talking about boarding, send me a message with more details about your pet!
A typical day
During the work day your pet will have potty breaks and all the snuggle breaks they want. If they want a lunch walk, we'll go for a stroll! Once I'm done for the day, walk #2, dinner, and an introduction to their favorite toy. I jog 2x a week so if you have a pup interested in that, let me know!

I'm in my 4th year of a PhD program so most of my time now is spent with my laptop and cat, Juniper. That leaves a beautiful space to take dogs on walks, visit fur babies throughout the day, or stay at your home. My ideal weekend is crocheting on the couch with a good movie or walking/hiking, so I would love to have your dog or cat join the fun!
