Pet care experience
My love for dogs started as a young child! It is actually what led me to eventually studying wildlife biology in college. While I eventually transitioned to nursing, caring for animals has always been a part of my life.

Deborah is great! Our golden retriever loves staying with her, and we love seeing the adorable photos of him playing and relaxing at their home. Deborah is a great communicator and so flexible. Makes the whole process easy and enjoyable.

Deborah and her family were great! They cared for our somewhat shy beagle and enthusiastic grand dog, a labradoodle, so we could go on a family vacation. Our dogs got along with their dogs and kids and our beagle, who was a little wary of strange kids, was sleeping in the son’s bed every night. We highly recommend them.

We want this to be a home like environment so you can rest assured that your pup will be well cared for. We have an air conditioned home with a large fenced backyard in a safe walkable neighborhood. Our home is nonsmoking and clean (no carpeting yay!). We have toys for your pet to enjoy (balls, rope toys, kiddie pool). Like our own dogs, your pet will become a member of our family:) While we are rather laid back with pets on furniture, we are also happy to reinforce your home rules to keep consistent.

Special needs are no problem although we are unfortunately unable to take dogs with a history of aggression to other animals or kids (since our home has both) Feel free to reach out with any questions! We would love to have your pet stay with us!
A typical day
We find joy in caring for the youngest of puppies to more senior dogs. If your pet is on medications…no problem. As a nurse, following a medication routine is second nature.

Availability
I have a work from home job with flexibility in my schedule, a house with a large fenced in yard, and 2 easy going playful but also lazy dogs of my own. I am in the fortunate position to be able to offer a great home away from home for others’ pets. We treat every visiting pup with lots of love, attention, fun and play! I have children who are so happy to be able to give even more love and attention to the dogs we care for.
