Pet care experience
Grown up surrounding by dogs. Since moving out of my parents house 6 years ago, I still regularly have our family dog, Chester, a bichon frise, who I adore for few days at a time. At least twice a month I look after friends dogs and have them over night when they’re go away. From whippets to teacup poms
Reviews
Claire is wonderful I couldn't recommend her highly enough. My Patsy loved staying with her and I got plenty of pics and video updates to put my mind at ease. Thank you Claire, Patsy will be back next week ?
Claire put my mind at rest while I was away with daily videos (I never left my dog for over a week!)… she also taught her to lie down in that time, I had given up trying!
My dog was there for a week and I think she had a better time than us! Few walks around town and the local parks a day, out for food in Manchester and spoilt rotten!! Had loads of pictures and videos daily which was reassuring, I would 100% recommend!
Claire was great with Frank, especially when he had a bit of separation anxiety on his first day - Frank soon calmed down and looked happy and content in all his pics and when he we came home he was exhausted from his stay- tired pup = happy pup! Would definitely recommend

I think owners know best so I’d follow your advice on what your dog likes/doesn’t like. Can crate at night if wanted or can welcome the dog onto the bed if thats more like home! I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s hands so I’d treat your dog how I’d want my dog to be treated
Information Claire R. would like to know about your pet
Firstly, if the dog has any triggers. Children, certain dogs or breeds, noises etc. That is the most important. As well as what scenario is the most relaxing for the dog at home so I can try to recreate if needed
A typical day
I love to get to know a dog from both what it’s owner shares and from experience of being with the dog too. And I think reassurance in a form they respond to is important
Services
Claire can watch in your home
Availability
I block my schedule properly so I only take new dogs when I have time to get to know them properly. I work from home too and I can and do regular, flexible breaks. Dog or not, I usually go on regular city and nature walks so it’s already part of my routine.
