Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 2, but I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 10 years old. From my own family pet to family friend’s and neighbours dogs. I’ve had experience with small dogs such as terriers and large dogs such as a Great Dane! I’ve bathed, walked, fed and of course cuddled lots of four legged friends and doing so brings me great joy.

Charlotte was great, my dog Max was so happy with her during his 3 days with her. She took him for walks and to a coffee shop to get doggy treats. She was just amazing with Max and I will for sure rebook with her next time I need a sitter for Max. Thank you Chralotte for taking such good care of Max!!

Charlotte looked after my dog ralph who was a beagle. He was aged 9 when he first met Charlotte and carried looking after him until he was 12. I have a fenced garden and don’t currently have any pets of my own in the home. I have plenty of indoor space for a dog crate if needed and room for dogs to run around and play! If I am to look after your pet in your home I will always be aware of our surroundings and make sure any doors are locked or closed if they need to be. I will also make sure your pet has plenty of food and water to keep them happy whilst they’re in my care and maybe a few treats every now and then!

I would like to be aware if your dog has any special needs that I will need to cater for whilst they’re in my care. I’d also like to know if they need to take any medication whilst I’m with them. Dietary requirements would also be good to make sure I’m giving them the right type of food! If your dog isn’t comfortable around other dogs I’d like to know in advance too so I can be aware should I be taking them on a walk where there might be other dogs around.
A typical day
Depending on the age and breed of your dog, I will mentally and physically stimulate them for as long as they need. For example, I will take them for a walk so they can have a good sniff and run around. I will also play games with them such as fetch and tug of war, and if they get tired I’ll be there for a cuddle!

Availability
I currently work full time but always have one day off in the weekend, and weekends off too. My usual hours are 8-6 so I can always fit pet care in before or after my shifts.
