Simply put, I have a passion for working with animals. My animal care experience exceeds 15 years, most of it being with domestic pets, though I also have experience with farm animals. After being laid off a couple of years ago I decided to take the plunge and finally start my own pet business; Green Paw Canine Concierge inspired by my 2 Labs and my passion for Eco-friendly living. We get our 'Green Paw' from using only earth friendly products. Don't let the name fool you though, I provide care for most animals-not just canines. I am certified in Pet CPR/First Aid and am currently being certified as an instructor. In addition, I am currently in the process of developing my own line of pet products featuring recycled, natural materials and sustainable ingredients so please keep an eye out for my store coming soon! Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to working with you in the future! Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover ever since I knew what a dog was. The day my parents brought me home from the hospital they also brought Lancer, a German Shepherd who was unable to graduate from the Police Academy. Through the years we had several other dogs of varying breeds and sizes, horses, chickens, cats, goats, ducks, birds, and fish. Currently I have two Labrador Retrievers. I just have a love for animals and enjoy being around them-period. My experience administering medication Yes. I am comfortable administering medications. I have experience giving injectables, pills, and both powder and liquid supplements..even to the most stubborn dogs who hate to take their medicine!

Cerah is great! She has watched our dog Roxy twice and both time we came home to a happy pup. She sent me a few pics and kept me updated and responded to me in time. I would definitely recommend Cerah!

I am so happy I found Cerah! We are fairly new to Sacramento and had tried a couple other dog sitting services for short weekend trips before finding Rover. While they didn't do a bad job, I was still left wondering if my dogs were getting the care they needed. After looking over Cerah's profile and reading about all the experience she had, I had a good feeling about her! Things only got better from there: she was very responsive and answered all the questions I had and was even more delightful in person. During our meeting, I was really impressed with her calm demeanor and attention to detail. She really wanted to know about their regular routine so she could keep things consistent when we were gone and even offered some advice (my dogs can be a little hyperactive at times). Cerah has watched my dogs twice and has done a wonderful job! Not only am I actually at ease when I'm away from my dogs, my dogs are as normal when I return as though I had only been gone for a couple of hours. We have a 10 day trip coming up soon and I am very much at ease knowing Cerah will be watching them. I would highly recommend her!

A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog The amount of time I spend with the dog depends entirely on the client's needs. Some pet parents need overnight stay, some request daily visits at feeding and potty times, or there is also doggie daycare/all day play. I can be there as little or as many hours as your needs require, there may be a minimal surcharge for 24 hour care as I am unable to book other appointments at that time. Extra house-sitting services I am open to completing additional tasks and already do for many of my clients. These duties include but are not limited to errands, cooking, picking up mail, watering plants, organizing assistance, gift and grocery shopping, and more.
