Pet care experience
I am an outgoing and energetic individual who loves animals of all kind. There is almost nothing better than coming home from a challenging day at work to a fun loving animal who doesn’t care what type of day you had and also looks forward to you coming home no matter what! I’m very flexible with dates and times for the most part! I’m a former pet owner, I’ve grown up with plenty of pets and I’ve also watched plenty of my friend’s pets so I do have experience with animals overall. I’m reliable and trustworthy and will give your pet the love and attention it deserves. Nevertheless, I look forward to this experience.

Brandon was great! Im on a road trip with my mom to spread overdose and fentanyl poisoning awareness after my brother passed away last year and we brought our dog with us. We needed a dog sitter while we spent the day at the DEA museum and found Brandon on rover. He was very kind and caring. Marvin loved him! This was my first time using Rover with my pup! I was a little nervous because my dog is deaf and can be a handful when in new environments. Brandon made my trip to DC a breeze. He was super reassuring and kept me updated. He has excellent communication skills and was very understanding. I would easily drop my pup to him again!

I live in an apartment, I typically let the pet walk freely. I don’t allow pets in my room and I make sure trash cans are emptied. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I prefer first time pets w/ anxiety to be accompanied w/ crate for precautionary measures.

Things I would like to know ahead of time about the pet is if the pet is leash and cage trained or not. How often do they need to potty? Does the pet have separation issues? How can the pet be left on its own? How often should I feed the pet? What habits do I need to know about so I can pre plan?
A typical day
Depending on the pet and their condition, we would go on long walks so they potty along the way and get some exercise. I live near a dog park and walkability to a large park for more space.

Availability
During the week I’m typically off after 5pm and the weekends I’m completely free if I don’t have anything planned initially. I’m very good at communicating and adjusting my calendar if I’m unavailable.
