A dog's best friend

I've had a dog my entire life ever since I was a little kid. Started off with smaller dogs and now I have a medium size dog, Morgan (the black dog you see in my pictures). I started watching dogs about 5 years ago so as a side job. I've had dogs that require nothing but attention, to dogs that need daily walks, to dogs that require medication to be orally given twice a day, to dogs with separation anxiety. I've done it all and nothing makes me uncomfortable. If you want your dog to get a bath, make sure they get cuddles every day, fed as many times as needed, bathroom breaks whenever, I'm good for it. There has been about 5 steady people I have watched through the years that I can genuinely say the dog has become my best friend and the families have been fantastic. The best thing I have ever been told by multiple people is that their dogs normally get anxious when they are about to leave but the dogs are so used to me coming, they aren't getting anxious anymore because if their owners are leaving, that means Ashley is coming! Snuggles, snacks, all kinds of love is a necessity!

Our neighbor referred Ashley to us as we have 3 dogs and prefer to keep them in our home while we are away. What a fantastic recommendation! Whether it's taking our pups outside in our fenced yard on a leash because of knee problems, or their crazy food routine, she always takes the challenge head on with a smile on her face. We also love the pictures we get while away! Our pups really like her as well. We have a Shiba Inu (if you know, you know) and we've gotten pictures of him smiling on her lap! Knowing our dogs are in such good hands makes our vacation that much better, because it's one less thing for us to worry about!
Ashley has watched our 4 dogs many times. At times, they were on specific medications or needed a little extra TLC. Ashely has always accommodated special requests and gives our babies extra cuddles. She sends pictures multiple times each day which our kids love when we are missing our dogs. Ashley is also very good about our home. She will bring in the mail, take the garbage out and we always come home to a tidy house. If you are looking for a pet sitter, look no further. Our horror stories are endless but Ashely is reliable and our go-to for trips from 3 days to 10!
I almost dont want to leave Ashley a great review because I don't want her to get too busy for us lol. Ashley has been watching our dog for 3 years now and I couldn't trust anyone more. Ashley stays in our house with our dog and we have never had any issue. Ashley is friendly, responsible, trust worthy, funny and just amazing. Ashley has stopped by a few other times and our dog just runs right up to her. He adores her. It's hard leaving our fur baby, but knowing he's with her is amazing reassurance. On top of being so great with dogs, Ashley is just a great person and I'm lucky to now call her a friend.

I've been dog sitting long enough to have clients who have fenced back yards, need to be put on the chain, taken on a leash, etc. So whatever your preference is, you just have to let me know and I will make it work. If you have a tiny dog and worried about hawks or coyotes, no worries, nothing will happen to that dog while you are gone. I always have my phone on me and will respond instantly. If I don't respond right away, chances are me and the pup/pups are napping together! I like to send pictures a lot but I also try to gauge what my client likes. If you want to see funny pictures taken throughout the day, chances are I have 10 more than I sent you but I'm trying not to bug you on your trip. All the pictures you see on my profile are of dogs I have watched but don't worry, there's probably 100 more pictures I didn't share but I have them! My goal is to make sure you are able to enjoy your trip and know your animals are in good hands so you don't have to stress. And if you need garbage to be taken out, mail to be collected or plants watered etc, I will make it happen. Just let me know! You enjoy your trip, I got your home and kids (let's be real, our animals are our own furry kids) taken care of !

If there is any extra information I need to know about your dog, please tell me. Do they have a special place to go when they want to be alone? Do they get very anxious when you leave? Do they have set feeding times? How many times do they go out in a day? What is their favorite toy? Do you give them treats ? Whatever you think is important, let me know. I have had people write down a basic page of notes and emergency contact information, I've also had people who give me packets of information on literally EVERYTHING I need to know about their animals. There is no right or wrong way, you do whatever is most comfortable for you and I will make it happen
Ein typischer Tag
We will play with whatever their favorite toy is, go for walks, run around the yard, sit and snuggle watching movies. I'm very easy going, whatever the dog wants to do, I'm all for it !

I work remotely so I am available all day every day. Typically when I am working, the dogs are laying right next to me as I am on my laptop. I am a recruiter so my schedule is made to fit my life so I am always available to feed or take the dogs out whenever needed. Even if your dog is a barker (been there, done that!) I can still find a way to make my job work around it. The mute button is great ! I typically avoid going out to much when I dog sit because I know most dogs are a little anxious that their owners are gone so I don't want to add to that. At most, I might stop by my house to grab food or run to the store/fast food to get dinner. But again, Uber Eats works great so I have been able to make it all work, I just do my best to make sure that dog/dogs know they are in good hands.
