asked a question How did you get your dog to switch from pee pads to going outdoors?

I'm watching a Frenchie puppy who was trained to use astroturf. His owner told me he won't go to the bathroom on walks at all. Any advice I can give her?

answered a question Teeth cleaning options in Seattle?

All the Best has a vet come in that will do a drug-free cleaning, I think it's about once a month and roughly $175.

asked a question Has anyone trained their dog to use the bathroom faster?

Seriously, my Aussie will wait until like...15 minutes into a walk, and then he requires at minimum 17.5 circles just to poop. Sometimes I've gotta run out the door, or I know there's a thunderstorm incoming and he hates those. Has anybody trained their dog to do their business earlier on the walk?

answered a question How many dog owners are asking a question to which they know the answer to enter the contest?

Well, hey, maybe you know the answer, but maybe other users do not and it will end up being informative for someone else!

answered a question Are you allowed to give out your coupon code to customers that contact you directly through Rover?

The coupon code is designed to give a discount to owners that you invite to Rover, instead of owners that already found you through Rover. I know it can be confusing, because even if they find you through the site, they're a brand new customer, right?

Essentially, giving a coupon code to someone who already found Rover through TV/radio/other ads makes it twice the cost for Rover to bring you that client. The more they have to spend to bring in a single client, the fewer clients they can get for you. The idea behind the coupon code is you're the one doing the advertising, so that's why Rover covers the discount.

If you want to do something special to close the sale for somebody who found you through Rover, I find tossing in a free bath, or offering an extra walk for traveling stays, or even a $5-10 discount out of my own pocket can help me get the stay booked.

asked a question What is your preferred training style?

My canine behavior professor once said, "The only thing two dog trainers will agree on is that a third is doing it wrong." So, what's your favorite training style and what are the advantages and downsides to it?
