Thanks all! The owner was very receptive in coming to pick up his dog right away. Hopefully he takes him to the vet ASAP! Thankfully there were/are no other dogs in the house, only cats (my own) who are on preventative flea/tick/mite medication. I will be cleaning the house top to bottom all weekend. Hello all, I am still somewhat new to Rover. A few days ago I took in a new client (very large dog), when he was dropped off he had just had a bath and was covered in baby powder. I noticed some bald patches and asked about it, to which I wan't offered a real answer but assumed it was something just related to him being an old dog. Fast forward a couple days, the baby powder is wearing off and I can see irritated patches of skin all over his whole body. Parts of it even look bloody. I don't know much about skin diseases but he is scratching a lot and I am assuming it could be mange. I called the owner who said he will come by to take him to the vet tomorrow. How do you all think I should proceed in the meantime? I am concerned because I have other pets living in our home. Any advice much appreciated.
