Carpet cleaner for sure. No matter how careful and diligent you are there will still be accidents! Every type of toy imaginable. Try all the different textures, rubber, stuffed toys, tug ropes, basically anything just because they will chew on anything they can get! One thing I learned from our trainer is to never just take things away from them. For example: if your dog is chewing on a shoe don't just simply take the shoe away but give them something like a treat or a toy in place of what they're not supposed to be chewing on.
