answered a question | How many hours do you consider to be a full day of doggie day care? I have a regular client, that has been coming for daycare 2-3 days a week. Their dog is quite high maintenance...Needs 100% supervision, cannot be crated and is a Barker. Recently, their schedule has changed ( they are both doctors) and they are now requiring 11-12 hours of care....Including a 6 AM drop off....Which is very, very early for us. I only charge $21 for daycare, which means, after Rovers cut...I'm making about $1 an hour. I'm not quite sure how to approach them, as I don't want to offend or lose them altogether ,but I feel like they are taking a bit advantage. |
commented question | Dog I am watching (repeat client) has just chewed up my $100 dog bed....do I (try to) charge? I wouldn't bring it up - There is a certain wear and tear I expect in this business...Chewing is ( unfortunatley one of them.) I suggest anything of any value be put away when doggy guests arrive. |
