Like the previous comment above states, taking her out in the morning, afternoon and evening. Also, try a really long walk... At least an hour walk to change up normal routine/habits. I've potty trained puppies and older dogs by taking them on long but easy hikes. |
| answered a question | Are choke collars bad? I find that choke collars can cause complications in some breeds. Some dog breed can be more at risk for essentially their throat collapsing. The best harness I've found has been the one that goes around their hind legs, it's where dogs hold all their power. You lift it when they pull... Essentially they can't thrust forward with their hind legs. It's also better for older dogs, and can be helpful in assisting them with walking or climbing into cars etc. |
