It's unclear to me whether this is the case for Rover sitters because there is sometimes a specified second pet rate for dogs staying at the sitter's place, but never for home visits. In my case my dogs are low maintenance—just bathroom, eating, and human interaction. |

In fact, I want to use it soon and even go through the Sitter application process myself but will move soon and want to wait to apply when I can provide my new address. That said, I wonder what sort of process Rover puts its potential sitters through? What sort of guarantees are in place that sitters won't harm your pet or even damage / steal property?
