answered a question New Puppy - Too young for an in home sitter?

At that age, you probably want someone to stay in your house until the puppy is better acquainted with your home and her routine. Moving her to a boarder or to another sitter's home could disturb the work and training you're doing with her until she's older.

answered a question Would you accept two Unspayed dogs who will be in heat and/or bleeding during their stay? Would you charge a special needs fee? How much?

I just had a problem similar to this.....I allowed an un-neutered pup to stay at my house for a weekend, because I couldn't expect him to be neutered yet (even though my profile doesn't allow dogs that are intact), and he pretty much wouldn't stop humping my dog all weekend. They got along great, but I felt so bad for her and needed to separate them for periods so my girl could get a break. I think I have to stop allowing puppies so that I don't have to have a decline rate on my stats because so many puppies aren't fixed yet. Honestly, I wouldn't take them, those dogs should be boarded, or have a sitter brought to their house. You will have messes and behavioral issues, and what if they get out??? Then you could be responsible if one of them gets pregnant while out of the house!

commented answer Who here has actually placed a Rover yard sign in a dog park?

I was on the rover promo area a few weeks ago and they offer lawn signs now, as well as car magnets, though I don't know about getting one of those. People put signs up everywhere, I think as long as it's public property you're good.

answered a question Promo Codes

As far as I know, there's no way to see who's using the promo code, but if it's being applied to your account then it's being used by someone who used another sitter. You can't tell if one of your clients used it during their booking for you, since you don't have access to their booking info (unless you ask them if they did). I just have the little stack of business cards with my promo card on them and hand them out to anyone who does a meet and greet and is a first time rover user, that way if they book someone else they have my code in hand already. We have about 250 uses on our codes, by first time clients, one time only, so it's good to make use of them and let people refer you.

answered a question Rover Pack

I had the same response time for my induction into the rover pack. It was a short wait while they reviewed me, only a couple days.
